Story
Hi, my name is Cara. I’m a 5 year old mix of some kind (potentially beagle/healer). My parents are moving, and because of some personality quirks, I won’t do well in the new location. So I’m searching for a new family to love me just the same. I’m used to being home with at least one of my humans all day long. I would be best suited as a single dog, however with patience I have made a few dog friends. While I love my current human kiddo, I’m a touch temperamental at times and may snip if I’m handled against my wishes. I don’t do great in confined spaces, I get worried and may hurt myself. For that reason, if my parents need to leave me alone for a while, they usually let me run in the house. I am potty trained, but do best on a schedule. Otherwise I may have accidents. I’m smart and love training. My parents actually got me a trainer through bark busters that will continue to train me (free of charge) even with my new owners!

Story
Tasha lost her human mom early October, due to an unexpected health issue. Tasha is currently living with family, but we have 4 other dogs and it is not the best environment for her. Tasha has been an only fur child for 11 years, so adapting to 1 year old dogs is a challenge. Tasha has been interacting and playing, but has issues with being Alpha with the other female. Tasha would be fine with other dogs that are not overly alpha. Tasha is very sweet. She loves to cuddle and demands to sleep in bed with the family. Tasha is overweight but doing good at losing a little weight by taking short walks. Extra snacks have also been limited. (She weighs 43 lbs currently. Dauchsand mix so she needs to lose more) Tasha has all shots, meds, and preventatives. She just had her senior panel. Health looks good. If you are looking for a sweet girl that is calm, cuddly, and potty trained, check out Tasha.
