Maddy has come a long way from the day she came to K9 Spirit. This cuddly little lady is full of spunk and initiative. Maddy needs a strong leader who will retain their position of boss of the house. She does very well in her foster home with well established rules and boundaries. If you are not into rule enforcement, Maddy isn't the dog for you. Maddy is potty trained and is on a consistent potty schedule. She is also crate trained, she prefers to sleep and also eat in her crate. Maddy barks appropriately and generally only as a door bell type of feature. Maddy likes to play with other dogs. She could be an "only dog" if someone was home with her a portion of the day, but if you would be gone all day, she would like to be in a home with a friend. Maddy is presently working on being a good canine walker and not "talking to" every dog she passes on her walk. Maddy is a work in progress, but she DOES learn and can be a good girl in the proper environment. Maddy has not been cat tested.

If you have applied to adopt Falcor we will get back to you! This is Falcor (named after the never ending story) This sweet boy came to us after he was shot in the head with a BB gun. He had an infection in his head because of his prior owner failing to give him medical attention. We had to put him through emergency surgery as a result. He was also severely matted (We posted a photo of him here after his surgery) We can also share with you photos of him before his haircut so you could see what he will look like when his hair grows back. Despite the terrible owners that he had previously, he is such a lover and a complete joy to have around. He’s great for anybody that’s looking for a companion. He does excellent just hanging out all day at home relaxing, or going on walks and hikes. Despite the terrible owners that he had previously he is such a great dog for anybody that’s looking for a companion... possibly a retired person would love this dog? He’s big enough that an elderly person will not trip over him and he is loyal he will follow you around and all he wants to do is give affection. Peluche is the name that his old owner had given him and it means stuffed toy dog in Spanish. This boy is a gem and deserves a home that will love him as much as he will love you. His drainage tube shown in the photos has been removed by his dogtor. His hair has started to grow back and he is now available to go to his new home. Peluche is now living in a foster home with a Saint Bernard.. of which he tolerates but doesn’t particularly care to have any dog friends. Just peoples love. He survived with his old owners because he hunted squirrels and wild rabbits on the 30 acre ranch. So small pets are an absolute no. But he will tolerate dogs. He loves humans and he is always super excited for his meals. Very food motivated. So should be simple to train. We bought Bandit from a breeder. He was born on November, 9th 2013. He has been a part of our family every since. We lived in Las Vegas and have moved to California cost. Bandit is experiencing a allergy to his new environment. We have been told by multiple vets that he is allergic to the moisture in the air and need to go back to Vegas in the dry climate. Sounds crazy.... but we have tried everything, like diet, vitamins, injections, nothing is working and his skin is pink and flairs up and down. He is irritated and can’t be feeling good. We just want him to have a good home with someone who will love him and take great care of him. He is such a loving dog and would make anyone who loves dogs happy.

Jasmine is a survivor of past abuse, neglect, and cancer. She's come a long way since we rescued her from the shelter. Jasmine will thrive in a stable home with no children and the right owner who will have the patience to care for her special needs.
