Story
ALL our cats and dogs are in the NY area but can be adopted out of state to the purrfect furever home.  In some cases, we can help transport.  Zani's al fresco Summer Adoptions  follow us on FB to find us this summer as we will try new locations to meet the needs of NYC and support the little stores:)       SnowWhite is 4 years old and has experienced so much. Dumped on the streets of Kuwait blind & pregnant, she was fortunately rescued from that situation, now in a foster home in the USA with her daughter, Sonny, and is looking for her forever home. As one would expect of a mama cat, she is very bonded to her daughter and they would like to be adopted together. Snow White has long silky white fur with stunning brown acents. She loves being brushed and pet and adores a good meal followed by a nap in a subeam. You will not believe how impressive her fur is. If you love long haired cats, please submit an application for Snow White and Sonny and you will be amazed at these furry silkies cats! This little blind Kuwaiti kitty is no grumpy cat. She is 4years old and always worries about others, making sure people and cats around her are ok. Snow White loves being brushed and pet, and adores a good meal followed by a nap in a sunbeam. This petite lady has silky white fur with stunning brown accents. Snow White is a social lady and needs a cat friend or two. Ideally we would like to place her w/ her daughter Sonnie as she seems particularly attached. Please apply so she doesn't get too comfy in her new home!  Facebook: Zani's Furry Friends ZFF (weekly adoption event info posted there)Twitter: zanisff Instagram: zanisfurryfriends   Please fill out an application on our site https://zanisfurryfriends.org and return to cats@zanisfurryfriends.org   Please note: kittens must be adopted in pairs or to households with age appropriate cat(s) to ensure proper socialization and companionship. NO exceptions! If you would prefer a solo cat, we would be happy to recommend those cats who would do best as solo cats. All our cats are tested for FIV/FeLV, spayed/neutered, vaxed and also microchipped.   Many of us (cats/dogs) will be on display on Saturdays or Sundays, weather dependent--please ask by writing us at cats@zanisfurryfriends.org and following us on FB. If you are seriously interested in adopting one of us in particular, please fill out an application by Friday so that we can be sure to be there. Otherwise we decide based on other variables. Usually we are in our foster homes so this is a bit more stressful and a slightly artificial environment but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes too. Please come! And if you can't adopt, foster, volunteer, or donate! If you want to know about cats/dogs specifically being shown at our adoption locations, please email us info@zanisfurryfriends.org closer to the date so we know your interest and will make every effort to have that pet at the event or let you know how and where you can meet.  It is extemely helpful and speeds up adoption if the application is filled out prior to visiting us so please do that before coming to our weekend events. Our weekend locations are: Saturdays or Sundays, weather dependent  Follow us on FB, Zani's Furry Friends ZFF, for latest updates. Usually we are in our foster homes so all this is a bit more stressful but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes. Please come! And if you can't adopt, maybe you can foster or volunteer. And you can always donate:) Cats and Dogs are spayed/neutered, UTD w/ all age appropriate shots and microchipped. Cats are feline combo tested for FIV/FeLV; dogs are heartworm tested and rabies vax'd, (NOT lyme vaxed but we seriously recommend it); rabbits are spayed/neutered. Please fill out an application and email to: For Cats: cats@zanisfurryfriends.org For Dogs: dogs@zanisfurryfriends.org For Rabbits: nyc.acc.rabbits@gmail.com. Please visit our website zanisfurryfriends.org.

Sonboula, aka Sonnie, is is very bonded with her mother ad they should got to an experienced home for long haired cats.  Sonnie has a pawsitive attitude and does not let her disability hold her back.  She loves to explore new places and climb up to high places.  She also loves to play with toys. She is a stunning looking cat with long silky fur. She jumps on the bed, climbs up onto the kitty post, and enjoys taking naps in sun beams.  Sonnie has the face of a kitty model but she has a very down to earth purrsonality and loves to get attention and will rub herself up against you to get attention. He's always looking out of his kitty condo but this only because he has places to go and a furever family to meet. This outgoing gentleman is always trying to chat with visitors, volunteers, and staff. Everyone stops to say hello to Alfred -- he has so many great ideas and love to share! Wouldn't it be grand if he can share all these with you? This guy is an absolute love but came into the shelter almost dead, his godfather was definitely watching over him. He had to have a feeding tube and then said, 'enough!' and pulled it out himself. Now chowing down like like a champ. Originally on the too skinny side, 7lbs, we fixed that up and he now has a fluffy shiny coat to go with. Restricted diet furever. Alfredo has Stage 2 kidney disease which is currently being managed by him trying to eat prescription canned food. Alfredo is still a bright, active, inquisitive cat who can bring a pep & spark to the right home with forever people who will care for him as he struggles against his disease progressing. All we are asking is to give Alfie a chance!  Zani's will help with ongoing support for medical needs so that you can love this guy. Please apply for this gentle boy who will only get better with loving attention.  FB: Zani's  Furry Friends ZFF(weekly adoption event info posted there) Twitter: zanisff  Instagram: zanisfurryfriends   Cats are spayed/neutered, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, Rabies vaxed, and microchipped.  All are in the NY/NJ area but we will adopt out of state to the purrfect home and in some cases, we can arrange transport.  Please go to our site   https://zanisfurryfriends.org   fill out an application and return to  cats@zanisfurryfriends.org   Please note: kittens must be adopted in pairs or to households with age appropriate cat(s) to ensure proper socialization and companionship.
