**Moxy is located in St. Charles, IL** Hi. My name is Moxy. I'm probably part Maine Coon but it's hard to tell. Being from a feral/wild cat colony with so many cats around, it's hard to tell who my kin are! But I sure look like a Maine Coon and I have a sweet personality. I'm still a little shy but that's because I never had a human of my own when I was little. But my foster mom is giving me lots of love. (Moxy's beautiful fur was full of knots and she was tick infested when we found her. She sure deserves so much better.) I've come a long way since I was first rescued. I'm still very shy but I love to be around people--but I don't quite know how to approach them. But I follow them everywhere. My foster mom refers to me as the 'kitten whisperer'. Every foster cat that comes into my house instantly forms a bond with me; we love to snuggle together. In fact, I love every cat I meet and they love me--mom has never seen me hiss at another kitty. Everyone loves me. I need some time and a special patient person to bring me out of my shell. I can't wait to snuggle with my new friend! I have to find a new home for Swoosh because I’m moving in with my girlfriend and she is extremely allergic. After over a year her allergies have not gotten any better so we have decided we need to find him a new home. Swoosh is almost 8 years old, he loves to play and cuddle. He has a huge personality! He is on a grain free diet, grain messes with his stomach. I typically give him wet food or tuna 2-3 days a week as well. He will come with food, treats, shampoo, toys, grooming products and a carrier. Please feel free to reach out with any questions you have. I need to find him a home in one month.

Pixie is just over six years old. She is a fairly new, rare, domestic breed called aNebelung. She has medium to long blue/grey fur, a long tail, and striking greeneyes. She is very beautiful and because of her large breed currently weighs 17pounds. As she has long hair, she should be brushed often so her fur stays softand shiny. She does not like other cats or dogs so must be an only pet.Pixie would be best suited in a quieter home with older children who know howto treat her gently. She is very friendly, loves lots of attention and likes to playwith her toys. She also loves to be brushed, petted, sit on your lap and sleep withyou. She would also be a great companion for seniors or someone who hasrecently lost a pet and is trying to fill the void in their life so they will no longerbe lonely.This is a Pay It Forward cat. **  Currently all our cats are in foster homes, and available to meet/adopt by appointment!  Go to our website magnificentmutts.org to fill out an application, and we will contact you for the next steps.  ** My role in my foster home is Bathroom Guardian.  No TP will go missing here!  I’m FINNEGAN, a Maine Coon mix.  The door is open and I’m free to roam, but I prefer my blanket and the countertop.  Turning on the faucet used to terrify me but now hand-washing can take place as long as I get petting and compliments.  I go into the living room when my foster mom is there, staying close by, purrrrring and chatting when she pets me.  LOVE 'baby talk.'  She finds my calm demeanor very soothing at the end of a stressful day.  She has two cats and while I’m okay with them, I keep my distance (and prefer my bathroom).  I’m more cuddly when they aren’t around.  I am a bit cautious 'til I get to know you.  Not sure how I feel about a dog.  I’m a great companion, low-key and affectionate, but not whiny and demanding.  I am long-haired and need some regular brushing to keep me from getting matted.  If you have the calm, quiet home I’m looking for – and you like head-butts – adopt me! **  FINNEGAN is estimated to be about 10.  He is neutered, vaccinated, FIV-FeLeuk tested, dewormed, and microchipped.  A FREE vet visit with one of our participating veterinary hospitals is provided at the time of adoption.  **  To adopt this cat, please fill out an online adoption application at http://www.magnificentmutts.org.  Senior Adoption fee: $75 (cash only) Please visit www.magnificentmutts.org for the online dog or cat application. A sweet maine coon mix girl who absolutely adores being pet and being brushed, I will even lick you when I’m super happy. You may notice that I only have one eye (AKA a pirate kitty) I had a bad eye infection last summer but the doctors knew I would feel much better without it, and I do! I was adopted soon after my surgery last summer, but my adopter traveled a lot so he surrendered me back to find someone who will be around to give me all the love I want. I do prefer women, as men make me anxious and I like to hide out until they leave. But with women I am an instant little love, especially if you pet my head and scratch my chin. I am a ground dweller kind of cat, so I don’t like getting on top of furniture or climbing up high. My foster has a lot of cat beds and cat trees in my room but I like sleeping right in the middle of the room on the carpet. All I need is a nice spot to sleep and a lot of catnip toys to make me happy.
