Sadie is a purebred Maine Coon. She is very quiet and likes to keep to herself. She can tolerate cats and dogs, but she would be best suited for a single pet household. She gets nervous and scared around them. She has a tendency to hiss at them and run away if they get too close. She is happiest when she is not around them. She likes to be near people, but is not a lap cat.

A sweet maine coon mix girl who absolutely adores being pet and being brushed, I will even lick you when I’m super happy. You may notice that I only have one eye (AKA a pirate kitty) I had a bad eye infection last summer but the doctors knew I would feel much better without it, and I do! I was adopted soon after my surgery last summer, but my adopter traveled a lot so he surrendered me back to find someone who will be around to give me all the love I want. I do prefer women, as men make me anxious and I like to hide out until they leave. But with women I am an instant little love, especially if you pet my head and scratch my chin. I am a ground dweller kind of cat, so I don’t like getting on top of furniture or climbing up high. My foster has a lot of cat beds and cat trees in my room but I like sleeping right in the middle of the room on the carpet. All I need is a nice spot to sleep and a lot of catnip toys to make me happy. **Moxy is located in St. Charles, IL** Hi. My name is Moxy. I'm probably part Maine Coon but it's hard to tell. Being from a feral/wild cat colony with so many cats around, it's hard to tell who my kin are! But I sure look like a Maine Coon and I have a sweet personality. I'm still a little shy but that's because I never had a human of my own when I was little. But my foster mom is giving me lots of love. (Moxy's beautiful fur was full of knots and she was tick infested when we found her. She sure deserves so much better.) I've come a long way since I was first rescued. I'm still very shy but I love to be around people--but I don't quite know how to approach them. But I follow them everywhere. My foster mom refers to me as the 'kitten whisperer'. Every foster cat that comes into my house instantly forms a bond with me; we love to snuggle together. In fact, I love every cat I meet and they love me--mom has never seen me hiss at another kitty. Everyone loves me. I need some time and a special patient person to bring me out of my shell. I can't wait to snuggle with my new friend! Storm is 1.5 years old - found with his brother on Craigslist. Currently living in a home with 2 adults, 2 children (under the age of 10) and 2 other cats (4 and 1.5).

I have to find a new home for Swoosh because I’m moving in with my girlfriend and she is extremely allergic. After over a year her allergies have not gotten any better so we have decided we need to find him a new home. Swoosh is almost 8 years old, he loves to play and cuddle. He has a huge personality! He is on a grain free diet, grain messes with his stomach. I typically give him wet food or tuna 2-3 days a week as well. He will come with food, treats, shampoo, toys, grooming products and a carrier. Please feel free to reach out with any questions you have. I need to find him a home in one month.
