Story
Meet Stella- the star of HSHC! Stella is a stunning brown and white Maine Coon mix. You can't miss her, she's a large lady weighing in at about 15 pounds. She is described by her previous owners as affectionate and quiet. She's approximately 5 years old and already spayed. She would do best in a home with older children or children who understand her need for boundaries and personal time. Stella has lived with dogs in the past and did very well. Stella is already the star of her own show, will she become the star of yours?

Story
Whiskers was born in early August 2019, and was found mewing in a log pile outside a SW suburban home. She was 6 weeks old, we brought her into our home and bonded, but I was not prepared to keep a kitten so we had Animal Care and control pick her up. However, we were already very attached... so we then requested to adopt her. She was in kitten foster care until big enough for surgery. After we adopted her, they called and told us that during the surgery they discovered she only had one kidney and so the surgery incision was larger than normal. With this, the only thing they said is that she will need to drink a lot of water. We had her the next 2 mo. She has been very loving and affectionate from the beginning and now as she is growing up and has been fostered with other kittens twice, she has quite good manners. The most affectionate and loving cat you could meet. We do not want to rehome her but for health reasons feel it is necessary to do so. Best if she lives w/ other cat(s)!

Story
Jasper has stuck by my side for three years. He is the sweetest, most loving cat. He loves to be picked up and give big hugs. Two years ago, I moved to college. I am unable to have pets while I am in college so I had to leave Jasper at home. My family recently adopted a dog. Since then, Jasper has been completely stressed out. He spends most of his time hiding, and will only come out when the dog isn't around. Since I am not living at home with my family, rehoming the dog is not an option. It is in Jasper's best interest that he finds a new loving (and dog free!) home. When I adopted Jasper I was told that he is a maine coone mixed with longhair cat. He has black fur that is silver frosted. He does have the lions' mane that is typical for that breed. A few of Jasper's favorite things.... Toy mice Catnip! Long naps Watching TV "Talking" to you
