Story
Simba is six years old, house-trained, and very playful. He plays in the water and comes when called (especially at feeding time). He enjoys long walks on window sills, sunbeams, sharing your food with you, sleeping on your chest, and laser-pointer-mice. Simba was my son's cat who can't have pets at his new place. And, I'm on the road too much to care for the cat. So, we're needing to find him a good home.

Story
We adopted Phoebe from a shelter in Cincinnati 7 years ago. We have lived in Durham for 2 years and are very sad that we can't keep her. She adjusted to the move well, but has over the past year exhibited on and off issues using her litter box. We have ruled out health issues with our vet and have tried everything recommended to help her with this issue. We are hoping to find a loving home for her. Phoebe is rather shy but very loving once she is comfortable. She is good with children who pet her gently, and was a great pal to our Sheltie, Fia when we was alive. Phoebe is a beautiful cat, affectionate and sweet. We hope you can help us find her a new home. Pam and Len

Story
This stunning Beauty was found in bad shape and was taken to a high kill shelter. When PURR PARTNERS rescued her, she was very thin and had hair loss due to a flea allergy. We traced her microchip to an owner, but they didn't answer calls. Isabella was thrown away and left on the streets for an unknown period of time. In our care, she has blossomed into a healthy and beautiful cat. Their loss is your gain! So...you might wonder why Isabella is on the foster-to-adopt list. If Isabella was a person, she might be described as ""high strung."" She just happens to be very selective about the people and animals she lets into her life. Because she was fending for herself for a long time, she seems to have learned to be cautious about people, animals, and her surroundings. She does not like other cats, and that makes it more difficult to find her a good cat loving home. She can become overstimulated and temperamental, at times, but as long as she is feeling relaxed and not threatened, she is more often happy and affectionate. She is curious and likes to play. She is good about being brushed. The perfect home for Isabella is:1 - Indoors, willing to keep flea prevention on her2 - Relatively quiet - not a lot of commotion or small children3 - No other cats or exuberant dogs (older, small, calm dogs are OK)4 - An owner with experience with cat behavior or willing to learn. Patient. Isabella has the look that so many people want. She looks like a regal princess. We know someone wants her!For more information or to apply to adopt please go to: https://www.purrpartners.org/adopt/

Story
Meet Gracie! She is a beautiful long haired, dark tabby mixed breed. Rescue me.org doesn't have a long haired kitty, so she listed under the Maine Coon breed. She has a woolly ruff around her neck and smaller plume tail like a Maine Coon. She has medium to long silky hair. Gracie has a proud white chest to display, and white socks to match. Gracie is shy at first and needs a younger kitty companion to play with for her to blossom and show her true gentle, playful, loving side. She will not do well as a single kitty. Gracie is very familiar with Sylvia (also listed, a Calico short-haired kitty), however, a younger kitty would be the better fit for her. We have several male and female younger kitties/kittens that she would thrive with. Gracie would do well with older kids, not small kids as they are to fast upon approach for her. Gracie enjoys sitting in the window watching nature. She also enjoys chasing balls and toys around with other kitties, as well as wrestling with other kitties. Gracie needs a quieter household to thrive. She will be the best, sweetest beauty who enjoys petting and snooze time, if you just give her some time to adjust. She is very low maintenance. If you are interested in adopting Gracie and perhaps another younger kitty, or have a younger kitty, please request an adoption application. We will offer a 3 week trial adoption period for Gracie to make sure she had enough time to acclimate your home. If you are not falling in love with her, we want her back please. Thank you for viewing our Snow Camp rescue kitties. We post new kitties weekly. Thank you for your time! We appreciate you!

Story
Meet the precious Juliet! She is an orange Maine Coon mix, that has a massive, gorgeous tail!! She is the quintessential Maine Coon personality and profile. Juliet is about 8 years old, she is shy at first like most kitties. She will bloom into the a wonderful gentle, lovey kitty with a large purr that will resonate. Juliet enjoys sleeping on pillows and mostly with her humans. Definitely a lap kitty. She is healthy, no medical issues, is fully vetted and micro-chipped. This beauty is being re-homes because the younger male kitty in the house wants to play, and she see that playtime as to aggressive. She wants to be a lover in your lap, and purr, purr, purr. Her perfect house would be a quieter home by herself or with another gentle, passive kitty, with adults and, or with older kids. If you are interested in adopting Juliet, please request an adoption application. We offer a two week trial adoption to make sure our little princess is fitting in your family well. if not, we want her back please. We post new kitties weekly. Thank you for visiting Snow Camp rescue kitties. We appreciate you!!
