COURTESY POST: SKYLAR is a gorgeous, affectionate, female cat of about 1-1/2 to 2 years of age. Found in an alley, this poor girl was living in a dilapidated garage with her kittens. She was easily picked up, and began purring and giving kisses to her rescuer! She has Maine Coon features with her thick, mid-length fur, large paws and tufts of fur bursting from her ears. SKYLAR can coexist with other cats, but she prefers human company. SKYLAR is now spayed, tested and vaccinated. She is a beautiful, friendly girl looking for her loving furrever home and family! She is only about 9 months old and, though shy at first, becomes very lovable once she gets comfortable with a new person. This gorgeous girl was abandoned when her owner was evicted from his home. COURTESY POST: Julius is a very large, long-haired Maine Coon-mix cat of about 2 years of age. He was found on a busy street in an impoverished neighborhood where a kind neighbor put out food for feral and stray cats. He was eventually picked up and taken in by a rescue person who had him neutered, tested and vaccinated. JULIUS was shy at first but began to trust people and now likes to be petted and play. He gets along with other cats. This handsome boy is anxious to be in a home where he can play, be well fed, and never have to struggle to survive again! In August of 2017 this cat showed up on my back deck covered in ticks and hungry. I began to feed him and treated him for ticks. I named him sweet pea because I thought he was a girl. When winter came I couldn’t leave him outside so I took him to a vet. He has a snipped ear and was neutered and chipped to a catch and release program I had his shots updated and brought him inside with my other 2 cats. I just call him P now and he is around 6 yrs old he wants to be friends with the others but they are not having him. Slot of hissing n growling. He cries at night when everyone goes to bed for a bit here n there. He will not let you pick him up but he will sit next to you for love. The reason I need to regime him is that he pees on every carpet in the house every day I have tried everything to stop this behavior but have had no success. I can not continue to have him destroy any more rugs. I think he would do well as the only cat in the home.
