Story
Jax is a completely awesome Maine Coon mix with diabetes. It's a time when so many of us are home much more than we thought, and a nice time to help an animal in need.  He's about 6 yrs old, neutered, up to date on vaccines, FeLV/FIV negative, and a big cat! He has a HUGE personality (very friendly and affectionate), and is obviously gorgeous. He is good with cats, dogs, kids. He had been relinquished to an animal shelter (a very good animal shelter! But you can imagine how hard it might be to manage a diabetic animal at a shelter). I have had him for about a month, and feel he is stable now and ready for his forever home. He needs insulin injections twice a day (he doesn't care about this at all). Anyone can learn how to give insulin injections, I can teach you! I am looking for a home for him with stability (schedule-wise and financially). He eats a specific diet twice daily and receives insulin twice daily. It sounds like a lot of work... but the pay off is the companionship of this exceptional soul.

Lulu is such a sweet cat but with my daughters allergies have gotten really bad. Since her allergies have gotten bad we feel as if she hasn't gotten the attention she deserves and needs to go to a better home.She will lay in your lap and kneed on you as long as she can. We got her at pet helpers about a year ago. When we got her she had to get he back shaved because she had matts from the previous owner and the hair is taking a while to re-grow. I hope she ends up finding a great home that she deserves.
