Story
Lily was our first baby, 12 years ago. She has been a good dog. But 4 kids later, life has gotten very busy and loud for our dog. She does not get the attention she needs and then acts out by accidents in the house. She is a sweet dog, who just needs more time and attention then we can give. She is a good health for her age. She has a sliding knee cap, which cause jumping up in beds and coaches more difficult. We can get records from veterinary visits. If you read about the Morkey breed, she fits it to a tee.

Name: Maine DOB: 3/22/2009 Weight: 10 lbs Adoption Fee: $125 This animal is part of our "Seniors for Seniors" program where we offer senior animals adopters an opportunity to adopt a pet at a discounted fee.  Hey everyone! My name is Maine.  I found myself being dumped at the shelter at 11 years old when my family got divorced. They said that was the reason.. but many of the people who met me in the shelter thinks it was an excuse, because it doesn't look like anyone had been caring for me for a long time. I had bad hair loss and hadn't been groomed in gosh knows how long, terrible skin redness, irritation and discharge out of my eye (which they believe I am blind in), and severe dental tartar. When I got to the shelter I was really scared and was labeled as "aggressive". That is FAR from the truth. My foster mom in Texas says I am very sweet and friendly, but I just don't like when people handle me in certain ways that may cause me pain. All in all, it's been a rough road, but I am finally getting a second chance to find a family that will love and  spoil me the way I deserve. I'm still decompressing, so my foster is including all she knows about me so far. The ladies at Ruff Start said they'll update my information once they get it! :) Right now though, I'm trying to adjust to a new foster home and  I love sleeping in my crate at night.  I keep it nice and clean! Although I keep my kennel clean, I'm not totally potty trained outside of it yet. I came from Texas originally. A little bit about me...I was in rough shape when I was picked up! I have some disc issues which causes my back legs not to work as well as my front ones.  Dr said that I am fine and I have probably had this a long time.  It's best that I don't jump on furniture or run up stairs. I am not in any pain at all, and if I fall I just right myself, get back up and carry on. I love to get lots of snuggles, hugs and kisses. I have a great personality and will make a great addition to a family. Story
HAZZY is a very loving & cuddly dog. She loves to be close to her owner & bond. She need to be the "ONLY PET" IN the home. Has jealously issues for attention & does not share food. She also has some separation anxiety behaviors. (Must leave a radio or TV on for noise/company for her). Her 1st owner had a 5yrs old daughter & cat and she has issues because of something that happened there(?) Best with an experienced owner that will cope with her. She is a wonderful dog, but is not getting along with my other pet.
