Shadow is an Aries and very intelligent and loving. He comes when called by name, and is very loyal. He never misses the litter box, and will love you forever if you turn your vacuum on to use the hose on his fur, he finds it very therapeutic and will ask for more when you want to stop:)

ManxALot is the cutest Manx girl with a WAGGING tail- it's hilarious! She has a wonderful shy little personality which will blossom after she knows you. At first she will be a hider, but give her time and she will show her wonderful purrsonality. She loves being brushed which is a great way of getting to know her. DOB: 9-23-11 Adoption Fee: $29. Please do not phone without first following the adoption instructions, and submitting your Completed application.*** About Our Shelter: Animal Village NM is a 501c3 non-profit, no-kill, all-breed rescue for pets abandoned to municipal shelters, and from other life-threatening situations. We feed our pets Science Diet kibble with daily organic supplements for immune system, coats and skin. All adopted pets are up to date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered (as age appropriate), and micro-chipped. Cats are adopted as 100% INDOOR companions only, unless a safe cattery has been provided, or cat is on leash to be safe no de-clawing allowed. Our rescued dogs have been through basic K-9 training, most are housetrained, and all are adopted only as indoor companions, not as guard dogs or yard dogs. No amputations of tails or ears is allowed. Canine adoptions also include free onsite training courses. Adopters from All Over *North America are Welcome! Adoption Process: We adopt to experienced pet guardians with excellent records of care for current or previous pets, as verified by their veterinarians. We also verify personal references from those who have known applicants and their pets for more than 5 years. A home visit will be made to ensure the home is ‘pet safe.’ 1. Application fees ($25) can be paid online at www.AnimalVillageNM.org, please use the ‘Donate’ button and indicate in remarks that you are submitting an application fee, and for whom, if you are interested in anyone in particular. If approved, your application fee will be applied to your adoption fee. If your references cannot be verified as submitted, you will receive a donation confirmation for tax purposes.
