Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.rescued from Brazoria CountyI'm named Twiggy because when I first came to my foster home, I stayed in the kitten room, ate kitten food, and gained a ton of weight!  I've lost quite a bit now (believe or not).  I'm such a sweet girl and just crave love and attention.  I get along with all my cat friends and cuddle and lick on kittens.  And yes, I was tested FIV positive, but since I'm surround by neutered/spayed cats, there is no risk of anyone catching it.  It can't be spread by saliva - just by blood.  Since there are no cat fights (when everyone is 'fixed'), I can be around other animals. My foster mom wants me to get more attention, cause she says I deserve it.  I've been around children and do fine.  Dogs - we don't know.  Anyways, I would love a  FOREVER home, too....won't you give a girl a chance?  I'll even go on a diet and lose some more weight for you!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Story
My name is Sitka and I am a big 'ol boy even though I am only 8 months old.  My foster mom says I am a big galoot -- which I think means I haven't quite figured out where my big feet are going. I like to play, especially with my doggie sister. I am trying to remember not to bite when I play, and sometimes when my foster mom reminds me to stop I give her a little lick like that is what I had in mind all along. I am not much of a lap cat, but I do love to sit next to a human or up on the back of their chair.  I also like sleeping in the bed with humans when it is cold outside. I am a manx cat so I only have a nub of a tail, but you should see how fast I can wag it when I get excited! If you would like a BIG boy to keep you company, please check me out.

Story
Willow and her best friend Harper were my sister’s. My sister passed away earlier this year and I took them in. These kitties were my sister’s whole world. Her children. Unfortunately myself and other family members are allergic to them. Willow is 6 years old. She is extremely friendly, active and playful. She loves to play with Harper, her kitty toys and especially her catnip bag. (See picture). She LOVES attention. She’s also very much a lap cat and loves to snuggle. I’d really like Willow and Harper to be adopted/fostered together if possible. If not, she will do really well by herself with lots of attention.

Story
She and her best friend Willow (another Manx) were my sister’s. My sister never married or had any children so these two fur babies were her children. She passed away earlier this year and I took the kitties in. Unfortunately, come to find out myself, my son-in-law and three of my grandchildren are allergic to them. Harper is 7 years old. She is very shy at first and will need a little time to adjust to new surroundings. She’s very friendly once she knows you. She’s definitely a lap cat and loves to have her coat brushed. She plays with Willow so I’d like them to be adopted/fostered together if possible. But if not, she should be ok by herself as long as she’s in a loving home.

Story
My husband and I received Ty from a coworker back in 2000. His mother was Manx and his dad was a stray. He was solid black with horizontal white stripes on his hind legs. He was a great kitten very playful and could jump super high. One day while sitting with me on the couch he sprayed me. So we decided to have him fixed. A few years later we received a Pug from my sister. Ty and Tessie got along great. Chasing each other and playing. Once Ty realized he could jump on top of Tessie and dig his claws in, we decided to have him declawed (front only). He had zero complications with the surgery. Ty has been a great cat, he loves the outdoors, but because he can’t defend himself or climb a tree we hold him while sitting outdoors. He loves laying in windows. Still bats at every string, ribbon or bug he sees. We have to find him a new home because our 2 year old is having a hard time with the fur and dander. Our son seems to be allergic to everything. We all love Ty, and will miss him.
