Story
My name is Jaina but you can call me Kitty- that is what my friends call me.I am about 6 years old. You notice that I don't have a tail, it wasn't cut off-I was born this way- I am a Manx. Although I am a cat, I have traits that will remind you of a dog- I like playing fetch or wagging my nubby tail and like a bunny, my back legs are longer than my front and when I run I look like a bunny( I am really fast ) When I am feeling extra playful or scared my tail puffs up like a bunny tail.I am very curious and like to watch you work and will follow you sometimes to see if you need my help.I am an indoor cat but love to go out on the screened porch. I sometimes get the zoomies and climb to the top of the screen. I will play fetch for you too. Just throw my mouse and I will drop it off at your feet so you can throw it again. I like to chase the red dot around too. Most of the time I am pretty chill. I love to look out the window and lay in the sun. I am a talker too and I have many different voices and I like to have conversations with you.I like to have a corrugated scratch pad because I like to rough it up with my nails. I have never scratched furniture or people though. I like to be brushed but will let you know when you need to stop by getting up and walking away.I don't like loud noises and sudden movements. I am not a lap cat. I will let you know if I am not comfortable with the situation by hissing but I have never bitten or scratched anyone. If I do not like a situation I run away to be alone for a bit.I used to eat dry food but didn't know when I was full and ended up eating too much. I started eating wet food and found that I love Salmon flavor. I like the flaky bits in gravy- not the pate. I like treats and will do a spin trick to get one.I have been around other dogs, cats and little kids but they all make me really anxious-you know, the loud noises and sudden movements I mentioned earlier.I prefer a home with no young children. Primary Color: Chocolate Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 7.9 Age: 6yrs 6mths 2wks

Story
Eva is the sweetest cat you can adopt. She loves pets and cuddles and is a very calm cat. We adopted her and love her dearly. I want her to end up with someone who will love her as much as we do. Though she is shy at first after a few days she warms up and loves couch cuddles. Sadly due to being relocated by the military I have to put her up for adoption. She'll come with her bed which she loves, blanket, and cat carrier. If you need me to pick anything else up to help get you started please let me know. Txt me if you need help with adoption fee.

Story
Meet Mister, a handsome black Manx boy that has short soft black hair and of course no tail. Mister is a small boy but he has a feisty personality that is definitive and easy to figure out.  This 6 year old, 10 pound boy loves people and being petted and invites some good snuggles. Mister is very picky about his cat friends though and if he doesn't like one, he's not nice to it.   So we are saying that he needs to an only cat in a home. He gets along pretty good with most dogs but can be a bit mean to them sometimes too. He loves people no matter what and will tolerate you medicating infected ears which says a lot about him. He even lets you trim his nails and he just lies there purring. He likes to snuggle and sleep on the bed with his humans and he will use a litter box and will also go outside. He uses a doggy door and usually goes outside to potty.  He's a busy cat that loves to see everything going on and make sure everything meets his standards. He goes in and out the doggy door all day and is quite the easy cat that takes care of himself quite well.   If you are interested in him please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped.

Story
Matilda is a great cat with adults. She is a bit skiddish around kids until she gets used to them, but she most certainly cannot get used to a dog or another cat. She also needs her shots updated which unfortunately, I cannot afford to do at this time. She is playful and pretty. I think she is a Manx, but she is a rescue so I'm unsure.

Story
Ladybug is a feisty girl with lots of energy!! She is an intrepid explorer and conqueror of crickets!  Always happy to see us at the adoption center, she regales us with stories of her day and doesn't stop till it's dinner time!  Even then, she may be too busy exploring to remember to eat. ;)  Ladybug never stops moving, and is always up for some playtime with a feather wand or catnip toy. She isn't looking for a cat companion, but could probably share a home with another independent (male) cat. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. The adoption policies and applications can be found at the following links (copy/paste them into your internet browser): www.tinyurl.com/fcrtcats AND www.tinyurl.com/fcrtdogs    You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster! Fosters are like bridges between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats and dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please check out our information about fostering by visiting: http://fancycats.org/how-you-can-help/foster/foster-application
