Story
We did our job and now it is time for us to let someone else know the love and joy of this beautiful boy. You may remember Blu when he came into us skinny and virtually dying from lack of nourishment. It only took 3 months which was much quicker than we were anticipating but he is now ready for his forever home. After coming to us he was hospitalized for a few days and with slow, food offered frequently and the right amount of love and comfort from our staff - Blu has progressed into one of the most loving and amazing dogs you would ever want to meet. His coat is starting to get back some luster and that beautiful Silver coat is starting to shine. You can't see the protruding bones in his head, hips and ribs any longer. We have gotten him weaned down to two meals a day (with lots of treats in between). He still doesn't like the cold. He gets along with other dogs - he is only 1 1/2 years old. We were told he is a Mastiff mix but we believe there may be some Staffordshire Terrier in that body of his. We want to send him out on a foster to adopt to make sure that it is the right fit for him and that he doesn't slide backwards with the movement to a new location.
