Duplicate Listing - DALE (A091801) - 1½ yr old brown/white Mastiff mix is currently located at the Lee's Summit Animal Shelter. Dale is good with dogs; seems to be nervous around the cat but was wagging his tail. He does seem to have a high prey drive so he may do better in a home without cats. Dale seems to be good with kids as he came from a home with 2 kids (unknown ages). He does not mind being tugged; he got excited but remained calm. Dale often has a clean kennel so he appears to be housetrained. Dale is not very energetic most of the time but he'll be playful for short bursts. He should be kenneled when left alone. Dale must be in a yard with a privacy fence as he can jump a 4ft fence. He walks well even though he will pull some when walking but it's not very hard. Dale does know "Sit" but needs additional training for other commands. He is treat motivated although he can be stubborn about listening. Duplicate Listing - CHIP (A091800) - 1½ yr old brown/white Mastiff mix is currently located at the Lee's Summit Animal Shelter. Chip is good with other dogs but would do best in home without cats. He was tested at the shelter and barked at the cat non-stop when he met her. Chip also seems to have a high prey drive. He is good with kids and he did come from a home with 2 kids (unknown ages). Chip does not seem to mind being tugged on and just stood still. He did a meet and greet at the shelter with a young girl (about 10) and did well. He was very calm and interacted gently with the girl. Chip appears to be housetrained as he often has a clean kennel. Despite his young age, he is not very energetic most of the time but he'll be playful for short bursts. Chip should be kenneled when left alone. He will pull some when walking but it's not very hard and walks pretty well on a leash. Chip does know "Sit" but could use some training with other commands.
