Story
Dreama came to us as a stray from another shelter so although we don't know her entire history, we've known her long enough now to know that after her big intimidating bark... she's all "pussycat". She is a fun girl, playful and interactive, but just as happy to cuddle with you. She loves to have your attention, either playing, getting cuddles or belly rubs.Dreama has had no consistency in her life, being bounced around from shelter to shelter and place to place. Somewhere along the way she developed a habit of climbing fences and running away when she is not settled in. Because of that, her new home must have a fenced in yard with the fence being at least 6 feet high. Even with the fence she must be supervised on leash at all times. Once she has bonded with you she will become more trustworthy about staying, but this will take some time. She needs to know who she belongs to and where her home is.All in all, Dreama is a wonderful dog, lots of fun and snuggly. Let her into your life but stay in control, she will love you for it.

Story
Daisy / F / 6 yrs / 80 lbs / Mastiff Mix / Toronto Daisy is described as friendly, affectionate, easy going, eager to please and cuddly. She is very people social and loves to make friends with humans of all ages and sizes. Daisy’s is lower overall vibe is relaxed and chill but she does enjoys her play time, especially her toy ball. She is a fast learner and knows basic commands like sit, down, paw and come. Daisy would benefit from a family that has the time, energy and interest to continue her training. Daisy's new family will have some large dog experience and live in a low traffic area like the suburbs. She would be most successful in a house so that she doesn't need to cross paths with dogs in tight spaces like elevators and narrow hallways. Daisy is great with people but is dog selective and will need to be the only pet in the home. Daisy has potential to be social with some dogs, but will require careful introductions and supervision. Ideally, her new family will work with a professional trainer to learn proper introductions. Daisy is low to medium energy and would do best in a home that can provide her with two 30 minute walks a day along with pee breaks. Daisy will need to be walked with a gentle lead harness as she is a big girl who has little experience with walking on leash. When she sees other dogs, she pulls and barks and therefore will require an adopter who is committed to redirecting her attention with treats or a toy when she sees other dogs on walks. Daisy is house trained and can be trusted with free reign when left alone. She is not crate trained but chills out in her dog bed or on her favorite part of the couch. When you come home she may bark out of excitement to greet you but settles her excitement quickly. If you are interested in adopting Daisy please fill out an application at https://www.fetchandreleash.ca/dog-adoption/ Daisy’s adoption fee is $525 which is being donated towards training with a positive reinforcement based trainer. Please note: Daisy is a local surrender that is being courtesy posted by Fetch & Releash.
