He is a gentle giant at 92 pounds. This boy is a world class cuddle bug. He has an adorable paint spot of white on his nose that just enhances his beauty. Taz loves to play with his siblings and foster brothers. Taz loves to cuddle and give kisses. This guy is a bundle of gentle love and affection. Great with kids and other dogs. How could you not fall in love the Taz Man? Taz is a compassionate guy. He loves to play with our Chihuahua pups and Oscar, our special needs pup. He knows that they are special and he can't play as rough with them as he plays with his siblings. He is an amazing dog. Taz is looking for a loving home - could that be you? Thank you for considering a rescue! The adoption fee includes vaccinations, Bordetella, de-worming, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip. There is a an additional $12.99 fee for Home Again for a lifetime registration of the microchip. Puppies cannot be adopted outside of the Houston area until they are spay/neutered after they are 4 months old. It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it. NOTE: In our bios, we provide information based on our volunteer's experience with a particular dog; such as temperament, training, and ability to get along with others. AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation , no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.

Meet Bruno! This super-sized puppy has adapted to his foster home and foster fur sibling very well. He’s a sweet boy that wants to meet all the new people or dogs he encounters. Bruno’s charm is so effective that he even won over his foster fur sibling that was not particularly happy to be taken off the only child list! Bruno is working on his potty training and will bark or whine to get his foster’s attention if he needs to go out. He sleeps in his crate at night and during the day when he needs a nap. Some of his favorite things are food, playing with his toys, snuggling up to his fosters when they’re not looking and playing tug of war with another dog. We dare you to try to get near his food bowl, there will be furious tail wagging and yelping because he loves to eat and gets so excited for mealtime! He is quite a happy camper and will laze around after a good play session.

This beauty we named Honey because she's sweet as honey. She was on the euthanasia list at the local county shelter. How can that be? Not only is she sweet, she's gorgeous! She is laid back, very calm and loves attention. She gives kisses even when she barely knows you, that's how sweet she is. Her only fault, but we can hardly blame her, is she's not a fan of cats. Totally understandable. Not everyone is a cat lover. Honey is about 8 years old, she is medium sized at 66 lbs and she is heartworm negative. She walks well on a leash, house-trained, up to date on all her vaccs, spayed and microchipped. Won't you bring this sweetie home and give her the second chance she deserves?
