Captain is an 11-year old, male, gorgeous Miniature Pinscher who was a truck drivers companion for a number of years. His owner stopped driving and he spend the last three years with another family member. There was a divorce in that family and Captain became an SDR Foster. Captain loves to go for walks and car rides. He is very eager to meet new people and dogs and sometimes he needs a little restraint when doing so. However, in the home he is calm and well-mannered. He has been cat and 8 year-old kid tested and passed with flying colors. Captain would fit well into a home with or without other pets. Due to his size, small children are not recommended. He loves all people he meets and although he has been through several homes on his way to foster care, he integrates very easily into new situations. He is not a barker who would also do well in a community setting. He has never had a single accident in his foster home and after a few days of being confined to one area he is now given free range of the house when left alone. Captain has some skin irritations which are possible allergy issues. We are working with our vets on a solution. Captain has a very sweet personality,loves to cuddle and just be with you. He would be an outstanding companion to a loving home. His adoption fee is $300.

They will need some work with house training and general training. They have opposite attitudes. Mickey wants to snuggle in and cuddle. Minnie feels like she's the protector of the house and people. They would love a good home to be in together furever.

My name is Chino and I'm a 13 year-old, Miniature Pinscher mix who is looking for my forever home. I am a bit on the nervous side and I'm selective about which people I trust. I will need an experienced family who is willing to be patient with me and earn my friendship. I like children, and I get along with other dogs and cats. I know some commands and love to go on walks.
