Story
VC is a very special case and will need a very special family. She is terrified of men and will bite them if approached. She is good with women, once she has warmed up. It will take a while and by a while I don't mean a few days, I mean months. I have had her for a year now and she went to her first adoption event last Saturday. She did much better than I had expected, no growling or trying to bite. She spent most of the time in my lap and did allow others to pet her. I am not sure what happened to her in her previous years, but it must have been really bad. She has such trust issues. She feels safe in her crate and that's where she like to be, if she isn't running and playing with the other dogs. She gets along great with dogs, but I don't have any idea how she would do with a cat or children. She needs to go to a single woman or a couple and the man has to have lots of patience with her. She is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, crate trained, doggie door trained and microchipped. Contact Patti at 580-221-3824 for more information.
