Ziggy 1 yr. male Min Pin/Dachshund mix 10 lbs. and fully vetted If you are ready for a little boy with lots of puppy energy, look no furtherm. Ziggy is a spunky little guy who wants to play with other dogs and who is on the go all the time. He does well with older children over the age of 7 and seems interested in cats without wanting to chase them. He can be reserved with new adults at first but warms up within a few days of meeting someone new. he needs constant supervision given a chewing habit he has and durable toys. Right now, Ziggy needs a home where someone is home most of the time given he does not care to be left. He also requires a fenced yard. Ziggy is house trained and does fine if left in a crate for short periods. Of note is that he does need to be separated from other dogs when eating meals. He seems to prefer male dogs over females as well. He came to us from animal control completely bald due to some skin conditions, so his fur is still growing back. Chloe Hope 8 yrs. Miniature Pinscher and Whippet or Greyhound mix 13.6 lbs. Fully vetted and chipped Chloe is an incredibly sweet Min Pin mix who adores all people. Do not let her face fool you. She is quite active and still considered young for the breed. She loves cuddling and sun bathing when weather is nice. Chloe is both house and crate trained, and since she is past puppyhood, she can safely be left alone in the house. She gets along with other dogs, though prefers being her person's shadow. We require that Chloe has a secure fenced yard due to her love of the outdoors, though if you hike or run, she would love joining you for those activities too. She will not be adopted to anyone in an apartment or condo situation since she can be vocal. Due to the sight hound in her, Chloe cannot be safely left with cats or other small animals as she has a high prey drive. Rambo is a little wary of new people, but warms up fairly quickly to women (he does not bond with and avoids men or children of either gender) and becomes very lovey once he decides you’re okay. He also likes to snuggle, but prefers to come to his human when he’s ready, so no chasing. The best way to get him to come to you – or do anything else – is with animal crackers, his favorite treat. Rambo loves playing with toys and other dogs, so we would like an adopter with another dog somewhere in his size range. Another canine companion would definitely make him feel more confident in a new home. He’s energetic, but not frenetic; a small fenced yard will offer all the exercise he needs.
