You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Cooper doesn't look it, but he is 12 years old. He came to us when he was 10 years old. I felt sorry for him and his owner. The guy that owned him had him since he was a puppy. He had recently gotten married and Cooper was unable to transition into a family with two small children. He was totally stressed out and snapping. Now I know what my answer would have been, but the guy was committed to making his marriage work, so Cooper had to go.  He had a real rough transition at first. He hated being at the facility. I took him my house, and he still wasn't happy. For the first six months he barked constantly. One day he followed me to the kennel and met the puppies. From then on he found his place in the world. He rules the quarantine room. He set up shop in a bottom kennel and he supervises al the workers and volunteers. He is happy as a lark. He loves the new puppies. He wants to babysit. When I was taking pictures, he kept getting on the table to make sure the babies were ok. I'm not sure that Cooper would be a good candidate at this point for a new home, unless the person had a lot of patience and love to give him. He would really appreciate people sponsoring him. He still gets all the special treatment our adoptable dogs get. Every month he gets heartworm preventative, he gets a Bravecto pill every 90 days and he gets treats and toys. We are committed to letting him have a happy life, but as he ages his care will be more costly.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Story
Chloe was found dumped by Sea World San Antonio. Parents contacted the owners assigned to the initial microchip. Initial owners stated they no longer wanted her. My family is fostering the dog until they can find an appropriate owner. As of last month, my out of state Dalmatian does not get along with Chloe. Chloe is friendly with dogs, people and kids. She is fine as a solo pet but will need alot of individual attention if that’s the case as she’s a natural cuddle bug. If you already have a pet, a friendly playful one will be a great match.
