Meet Keelan, this 2 year old Min Pin/Chihuahua blend is the perfect lap dog size at 11lbs. He is a happy dog who is ready to enjoy his life out of the shelter. His foster mom tells us that while he does okay with other dogs he really just prefers people over dogs. He would do just fine in a home where he is the only dog getting all the attention! He is the perfect companion dog and just needs to find the right fit for a family. Keelan has shown some skill in jumping fences so he will need a home with a tall fence. Meet our precious Cher. This little lady is about 3 years old and 11 lbs. She came to us as a stray and had a crushed hip from an old injury. She recently had her back left leg amputed, but please don't tell her! This has not slowed this little girl down one bit. She is so much fun to have around. She loves kids, cats and other dogs. She walks well on a leash, is crate trained and just wants to be around where the action is. Rescued eleven years ago, she was found with two other dogs roaming a parking lot. I have given her the best home I possibly could but we now have an infant and she is acting out due to that. She is a very sweet and loving girl who enjoys lap petting all day long. If she were in a home home by herself with no other dogs she would be a great little girl. We love her very much but feel that if we keep her here in this environment she is going to just keep with the bad behavior. A person that would love her and show her full attention she needs is who we are looking for. We will also screen the home she goes to thoroughly as she is used to being in a safe and clean environment and we expect nothing less.
