Heyward is a male, 12 lb, white Poodle mix. Heyward's estimated date of birth is March, 2017. Poor little Heyward was completely matted and discolored from lack of care. He was in a home with four other dogs and his owner was ill and couldn't care for him anymore. He does have some heart disease. He has been put on medication for this condition and will have to take them for the rest of his life. This guy is in real need of a loving, forever home. You can meet Heyward at Bent Arrow Veterinary Hospital. Call 918-459-9100 for an appointment. He has a $150.00 adoption fee plus the cost of 6 months of heartworm prevention. Hi! I'm Shadow, a poodle weighing in around 15 pounds and 15 years old...ish. I spend a lot of my day resting in a comfy chair or right next to my foster dad. I also enjoy a good walk around the yard and the occasional bark. I like to call it echo location. It's really just for attention! I get along pretty well on a leash but long walks or runs are a thing of the past for me. I get very excited to see my foster dad and siblings. We don't play a ton but they guide me around the house and outside because I'm 100% blind. Doesn't bother me, though. I don't have many accidents in the house. Only when it's an emergency do I break the rules! I eat well and seem to do everything normally as if was 5 years young! I do fine with other dogs but I don't like to play much because I'm old. I sleep on the couch downstairs and don't wake anyone up until it's time to potty. I do get anxious kind of easily but as I found my way around, I calmed down in my foster house. My food gets wet with water so it's soft. I only have a few teeth left- don't judge! I am looking for a place to retire, enjoy the sun baths, yummy food, and spend lots of time loving my new family. Hello, my name is Jean Luc, and I'm about 10 - 12 years old. I was found wandering the streets and taken to the shelter. No one ever claimed me. Thankfully Bella SPCA stepped in and found a foster home for me. I was obviously a loved pet at some point. I LOVE people and love to snuggle. I felt right at home in my foster home the very first day. I get along with the other dogs, and like to play with them, but I also like to get all the attention from my foster parents so sometimes I get jealous. I am also fine with cats. I enjoy being very close to my humans (I whine when my foster mom goes into the other room and closes the door), and LOVE to be petted. Rules in my foster home are no sleeping in mom and dad's bed, since not every adopter will want that, but truthfully I would very much appreciate sleeping with my new human, since I get lonely out in the living room by myself. Don't let my age fool you, I'm very active. I love to play with toys and I love to go for walks... I am a perfect gentleman on leash. I do have some mild vision and hearing issues, but that doesn't slow me down at all. I've been checked by a vet and had a dental cleaning, so I'm healthy and ready to go.I'm MOSTLY housebroken. I don't have accidents if mom lets me out on a regular basis. I will also let her know I need to go out by getting "anxious". Sometimes at night or when she is gone, I have to potty, so mom has been using disposable belly bands (diaper for male dogs) and it works out very well. I'm looking for a calm, adult retirement home where someone is home most of the time and will treat me like the spoiled prince I deserve to be.
