Her hair is growing back and she is so cute. Very loving girl. She is well mannered and happy. Sweet pup found hiding under construction equipment, scraggly, matted and dirty.  She had been hit by a car and in pain.  She is around 7 years old and 15 pounds. All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption.  The standard minimum donation for puppies is $325 + 8.25% tax =  $351.81, for dogs over 12 months the adoption fee is $225 + 8.25% tax = $243.66 and for our senior dogs 8 years and up is $100 + 8.25% tax = $108.25; this increase includes sales tax recently required by the State of Texas to collect.  You can view all the adoptable pets and fill out an adoption application online on our website at http://dallasdogrrr.org.  For more information, you can email adopt@dallasdogrrr.org.   For more information, you can email adopt@dallasdogrrr.org.  Upon receiving your application please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.  Thank you for your interest in adopting a Dallas DogRRR. ##547322##

DFW AREA ONLY How can you not fall in love with that little sweetie pie face??!!  Toby was surrendered to the Rockwall Animal Shelter due to one owner passing away & the other being put in a nursing home.   He was very scared & unsure what is happening to him!   A plea was sent out, a LHS foster mom saw him and knew she had to get him out & help him begin a new life with endless possibilities.     Toby is a 10yr. old, 16lb. Miniature Poodle who is UTD on all his vaccines, neutered, HW+ (but will be treated & is covered under his adoption fee & will be good as new!), current on HW preventive, micro-chipped, doing great on house training, does ok in the the crate, but prefers his dog bed for a good snooze.   He does great on the leash, fine with other dogs, kids and cats.   Toby is the sweetest little thing ever!!  He still enjoys a little play time with his foster siblings, give doggie kisses, being loved on too.  Toby is a little vision impaired, BUT he still gets around great!  Now all he needs is his new FUREVER home...... could that be with you??!!   If you are interested in adopting this adorable little guy, complete an online application at  http://www.legacyhumanesociety.org/adoption-application.html   Toby’s adoption fee is $200 **groomed on 2/21/2020      We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. He is loving, enjoys a long snuggle, and doesn't shy away from exploring the house. Although Franklin had a difficult background and a long time on the streets, he is mild mannered, potty trained, and loves his kennel for overnight and being home alone. Due to his hard times, he had to have his teeth removed, but that doesn't stop him from having a hearty appetite! He loves can or crunchy food, and a variety of treats. Franklin is hard of hearing, but he is good with visual cues. If you open the door, he will be ready to potty. He will bark once if he has to go out. He will 'knock on the door' to your room if he wants to come in. Overall, Franklin needs a gentle home where he can get all the love and attention he deserves. My dog was born January 2009 she is a poodle mix. She has seizures about once a year she is loving but not 100% house trained. Unfortunately I have moved and can not have a dog at the location we have been together for 9 years. She loves to cuddle. She is older and likes to lay down. She likes kids 8 and older. Once she gets to know you she will be very protective of you. I love her and spoil her. I would like someone to adopt her that will love her just as much as i do.

Harley is a 5yr old, female Poodle mix. She is a sweet, needy girl that just wants a human to call her own! Loves to cuddle & nap on the couch. Calm, mellow girl. Very curious, loves to explore in the yard. Dog social. Crate & leash trained. Harley is Partially DEAF so she will require a home that will be patient with her while she adjusts. (No small kids that will spook her) Does not require sign language. She is NOT housebroke. She needs atleast 2 weeks to settle in. Sadly Harley & her pup lived a life of neglect before arriving to us. They were forced to live in an outdoor pen, severely matted & unloved. After much love & vet care Harley is now healthy & ready for a loving home.
