This adorable little girl is Paulie! ?? Paulie was found dodging traffic and in very poor condition. Her fur was completely matted and she was very scared. Paulie seemed to not be used to human touch, and we can only imagine the loneliness she had previously experienced. Unable to bear the thought of Paulie being in the shelter setting after a life like that, one of our volunteer families took her in and have been fostering her for 4 months. She is now ready to find a patient and loving family to adopt her. Paulie will need a quiet family who will take their time with her and provide her with the support needed to get used to a new life. She is more comfortable around women and is still scared around the men in the foster home, even after 4 months. Paulie gets along well with their three small dogs and likes their rabbit and guinea pigs. She is house broken. With time, she has opened up a lot since first arriving with her foster family. Paulie loves to give kisses and gets excited when they come home. She's even gotten some happy zoomies a few times. While her fun personality has started to shine, she still gets nervous often and is ready for the perfect family who is understanding of her needs ??Paulie is a Miniature Poodle, weighs 8 pounds, and was born on 1/3/2014. She is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and flea/tick/heartworm preventative. Paulie must be an indoor dog, meaning she sleeps in the home setting and does not live outside. If you are interested in adopting Paulie, please email bahshelter@yahoo.com. If there are other dogs in your home, we require a meet and greet. Meet and greets can be scheduled via email at bahshelter@yahoo.com. All current pets in your home must be spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.Thank you!

Meet Tizzy JH Okay, so you might want to sit down for this and I am not being fatcious or silly 'bout this. And this isn't April fools either. I just got some bad news and I have a sewious heart condition. Luckily the Dogtor caught it and now I am on medicines. I will need to take the medicines for the rest of my life, so I suggest lots of cheese to hide them from me, I will purtend I don't know, but I know, and you will know I know, but we will do the obligatory charade of "hey this is cheese, not medicines disguised. Okay? I am a female 5 month old Poodle mixed with Terrier, my brother Bond looks like a Yorkie/Poodle mix. We are 5 months at the end of October. I weigh just 8 pounds. Normally, religiously really, ALLLLLLL God's Dogs Rescue foster puppies must be spayed befur going to new homes, but guess what, I don't have to, becuz I am special. The Dogtor said my heart wouldn't do good in a surgary, surgreee, surgery. So I can't be spayed. With much cute though, comes much respawsbilities. Okay? I CANNOT be allowed to be pregnant neither? Capeesh? The extra stress of growing buns in my oven would kill me. So I can't be spayed and I have to be on lock down with a chasity belt. Capeesh? I am a fun puppy and normal puppy when you don't think about my heart being all sad and stuff. I am happy on the outside and I don't care about Dogtor stuff, I care about toys and playing and running fast. I also excel at cuddles and love to lay my head in the crook of your neck for loves. Do you want to be my special guardian and keeper? Sadly, my heart condition might shorten my life span, but dog's live in the moment and I will treasure all our moments no matter how many, won't you? Local adoption fee $250.00 (within Texas) Out of State adoption fee $500.00 (with transport out of Texas)
