Story
This sweet older dog would love a nice quiet home where he can get lots of love and a nice doggie bed to sleep on. He is approx 8-9 yrs per our vet and weighs 16 lbs. When we rescued him, he has some flea allergy dermatitis and is getting weekly medicated baths. His coat is pretty sparse and he will be so handsome when it grows back. He looks like a schnauzer mix. He gets along with the other dogs but is not one to play and run in the yard with them. He just wanders around on his own, he loves getting some petting and going on walks. He would be perfect in a home where he can be the star of the house hold. He seems to be well house and leash trained and is going to make a great companion for someone OUR RESCUE POLICY - It is our rescue policy for all our dogs that we require a home with no children under the age of 10, and experienced dog owners only. WE REQUIRE TWO YEARS OF VETS RECORDS ON YOUR CURRENT OR PAST DOG FOR OUR REVIEW. RECORDS MUST SHOW THE POTENTIAL ADOPTER AS THE OWNER The total adoption fee of between $550 (CT, NY, PA, RI) and $675 depending on the quarantine laws of the adopter or foster's state (primarily Massachusetts) and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, distemper and canine influenza, and microchip. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. We also provide a coupon for a free wellness visit to the South Wilton Vet group if convenient for you.
