Story
Klaus is fostered in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down there, so he is willing to move north for a good loving forever home. ****Please note: Due to the Corona Virus, our rescue transport service is unsure if they will be able to continue transporting to the northeast. If you want to adopt Klaus, and are willing to possibly have to wait to get him, I will hold him for you. He would be sent to you as soon as transports start again. If not, please check back later. Klaus came from a fast kill, small town, dog pound. Once we cut all the mats off we discovered that he was a mini Schnauzer. We think he is around 1 year of age and he weighs 24 pounds. We've only had him for a short time, but Klaus is a typical Schnauzer. He likes to play but is not super active. Klaus is crate trained but needs work with house training. This should be easier now that he is neutered and when he is away from all the other males in his foster home. Klaus walks well on a leash and rides well in a vehicle. Klaus likes other dogs and will be less irritating to females once the testosterone wears off. He should be fine with well behaved children and cats. Klaus is a little chunky and needs to loose a bit of weight. Klaus will love to go on walks or hang out on the couch and watch TV. Schnauzers need to be groomed on a regular basis. He has not been fully groomed in the pictures. We only cut the mats off. Klaus must be in the house as a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash would like a secure fenced yard to run and play. Klaus is healthy. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He is negative for heartworms and current on heartworm and flea preventative. Klaus has a $500.00 adoption fee which includes ground transport via PETS LLC for pickup in Brattleboro or White River Junction VT. He is being fostered in Texas and she will not be sent north until after he is adopted. Please contact 2 Many Dogs Rescue for an adoption application if you are interested in adopting Klaus.
