Story
Candace is 8.5 months old and weighs 25 lbs. She’s a shy girl but with time, patience and TLC she warms up.  She would do best in a quiet home and would benefit from being with another confident dog who can help her overcome her shyness.  Candace was found as a stray by a BAS volunteer. If you would like to meet this dog you can read about our adoption process and submit an application on our website at: http://www.bajaanimalsanctuary.org/dogs.htm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This black and white pointer mix girl is Alejandra and weighs in at 35 lbs.  She was rescued as a small puppy very sick and it took a while for her to get all better.  She looks so pretty and has plenty of energy for a hiker, runner or active family.  She will need a yard because she is young and needs to run.  So living in an apartment for this girl just wouldn't do.   If you would like to meet Alejandra please go to our website at www.stpacossecondchancedogrescue.org and fill out the application and we would be happy to arrange a meet and greet.  Alejandra is up to date on her vaccines, spayed and microchipped.  Her adoption fee is $250.00Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Story
Lucky is a rescue dog that came to me about 1 year ago. When I first got Lucky was not in a great state. He was skittish, untrained and had major food aggression issues. However, he was a very loving dog, he loves nothing more to sit in your lap and be petted, and is very protective. Over the months I have worked with him and taught him basic commands. He became less skittish and his food aggression subsided. He was able to listen and was pretty good on walks. Then other aggressive issue came out, he would try to attack any dog he walked by. I worked on this a lot and he will not be aggressive if I tell him no when he sees another dog. While he has made a lot of progress he still has aggression issues. He would be a great dog for some without other dogs and wants a companion or a protector.

Story
We are moving to Hawaii for the military. Since we are dual military, it’s been increasingly more difficult to provide Tugg with the ample time he needs outside. He loves laying out in the sun and unfortunately, we are always at the risk of being deployed or moving. We’d only entertain families that have a backyard. He has not adapted well to the apartment we moved into. He wants to be outside.
