Story
Meet Joyce by appointment at her foster home in Pawling, NY (please email to set up the appointment). Joyce is a beautiful Cur/Terrier Mix with a beautiful light brown coat and black muzzle. She is about 2 years old, housetrained and very sweet and gentle. She was an owner surrender to our partner in the south and arrived in NY when her babies turned 1 week old. She has four little ones, 3 boys and 1 girls and she is such a fantastic mommy to these babies. She is being spayed and is ready to start her search for her forever home. *Due to MA Dept of Agriculture restrictions, we do not send dogs to MA residents. Sorry.

Story
Welcome Winnie! She is an approximately 2 year old Mountain Cur/Terrier mix. She’s great with other dogs, kids and loves anyone she meets. She’s never been around cats and we think she may not be a good match for a cat home. She’s great on her leash and loves to go on long walks with her foster mom and her other dog. To add Winnie to your home, complete an application on our website, www.packledersrescue.com. Winnie is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and heart worm negative.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. TIGGER IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE HE IS ADOPTED! Tigger is a most handsomely marked brindle pup who loves his trests. At just under two years of age, he is a happy boy who shows his excitement for your attention and loves other (nice) dogs as well as children. He doesn't care for you to bother him while eating, but patiently waits while you fill his bowl and move away. If he walks ahead of his leash and it falls between his legs, he will stop and pick up his foot to allow the leash to swing free. Tigger had to endure heart worm treatment, and he is now a healthy boy of 68 pounds!  Tigger has been neutered, is up to date on his vaccinations and is microchipped.  His adoption fee of $325 includes the transport to CT.  We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that delivers our adopted dogs up north to their new families.   If you have any questions, please email us at:  newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com.  You can apply to adopt Tigger here:  http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net/adoption-application22.html THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET! Story
Cooper is the most incredible 3-4 year old mountain cur/lab mix weighing 50 lbs. This boy unfortunately had a rough start to life and arrived at his current foster home 5 days ago a very shy, scared and withdrawn boy. We thought it was going to be a lot of work to build a bond with him and get him to be comfortable not only with us but with the idea that not all people are scary/will hurt him.  Within only a couple of days this amazing pup has done a complete turn-around with his personality. He gives kisses, bops us on the hands when he wants pets and follows us around EVERYWHERE. He is completely housebroken, walks perfectly on the leash, not destructive at all and is fine being left out at home alone. Cooper is low energy but loves being outside and really enjoys his walks, hikes and trips to the dog park. Cooper is good with others dogs, even though he is still a little shy at first. He is good with the cat in his foster home but does like to follow/chase her around when she runs away. I would suggest a home without a cat. Cooper would be an incredible addition to a retired couple's lifestyle.  He will make you feel so loved and important in his life.   He does have a little anxiety when home alone for long hours.  He may be better in a household with older kids because he does get startled by loud noises.. Cooper has so much love and life to give and would adore having a family to call his own.    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com
