Title: Meet Margo - A Charming and Intelligent Companion Waiting to Steal Your Heart Hello, my name is Margo and I am a sweet and loving 1-year-old female dog. I may be petite in size, but I have a big heart filled with love and happiness. I'm writing this bio from my cozy bed at the shelter, hoping that someone will read it and see just how special I am. You see, I was returned to the shelter through no fault of my own. It's hard for me to understand why, but I am trying my best to stay positive and believe that my forever family is out there waiting for me. I have a pretty face and a charming personality that will surely make you fall in love with me. I am also very intelligent and eager to learn new things, making me the perfect companion for anyone looking for a loyal and well-behaved dog. My activity level is relaxed, so I would be content snuggling up on the couch with you, or going for leisurely walks in the park. I am also a social butterfly and love making new friends, both human and canine. I would be the best friend anyone could ask for. I get along well with other dogs and I am great with kids too. I love playing and cuddling with them, and I promise to be a gentle and patient companion for your little ones. I may have had some setbacks in my life, but I have not lost faith in finding a loving family who will cherish me forever. So, if you are looking for a loyal and loving best friend, please come meet me. I can't wait to charm my way into your heart and make you see just how special I truly am. Let's make each other's dreams come true. Thank you for considering me.

Story
Sheba, as in queen of, is a very sweet, happy girl. She does think she is the only one though. She plays well with others but does not care for cats, maybe chickens too, we don't know. She was born approximately 2015 and is spayed and current on her shots. She is a beautiful light brindle color and loves to give kisses. She is also house trained. Please send your phone number to find out more about this wonderful girl.

Story
Due to COVID-19, the unknown surrounding it and, the request that we ALL nationally stay home – OLBH is suspending all adoptions, new fosters and any non-essential visitors to the rescue until which time it is deemed safe to resume normal practice.     Aspen is 4-5 years old, sweet intelligent guy with some allergies that are controlled simply by diet. Aspen was adopted in 12/17 and returned 3/19 for a behavior change. Once back with us I reviewed all of his veterinary records from while he was in the home, the reasons he was seen and the multitude of times the family had boarded him in the short period he was with them. That explained a lot to me about this "behavior change". We put him on a special diet for allergies and have provided a stable environment for him, Aspen has been nothing but wonderful here just as he was in his foster home prior to the adoption in 12/17. He's a great dog, comical, loves to play, loves water and needs a "forever" home We require   that you have a fenced in yard, not a "kennel" in the yard AND we do not approve underground fencing. Depending upon the dog some exceptions are made for those who live in apartments.   We also require that the adoptee will be a part of the family "living" within the home. Our adoption process may be found on our website at www.bitofheaven.org Visits are scheduled by appointment only via emailing request to ownedbycaninesandlovit@yahoo.com
