Once a SAAP dog, always a SAAP dog. Meet Lennox, a boxer, mountain cur mix! 11 yrs ago he was adopted as a puppy and through no fault of his own has been returned due to divorce. He came in with some teeth, skin and ear issues and will be on med hold for a few weeks. So far he seems like a pretty low key guy, crate and house trained, easy on a leash, can get in and out of the car and go up steps with no problems. Good with the teens in our house, gentle and sweet. He will meet the rest of pack later on this week, but is said to get along with dogs. If you are looking for a senior guy, check out Lennox!! This girl is nothing but grateful and is loving life now.. She gets along great with other dogs, but must eat separate. Leslie can be a little nervous when she first meets someone. Once she knows your ok, she wags her tail and comes right to you. She would make a great companion, but can not be with young children.  Leslie Knope has been treated for heartworms, and now just needs to be kept on a monthly prevention just like any other dog. Adoption fee is $196.10 (Kentucky Sales Tax is included since adoptions are finalized in the state of Kentucky), and includes bordetella vaccination, Rabies vaccination, DHPP vaccination, fecal, heartworm check, heartworm treatment, monthly prevention's, microchip (includes lifetime membership), and spay! Sheba, as in queen of, is a very sweet, happy girl. She does think she is the only one though. She plays well with others but does not care for cats, maybe chickens too, we don't know. She was born approximately 2015 and is spayed and current on her shots. She is a beautiful light brindle color and loves to give kisses. She is also house trained. All current pets must be up to date on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Dogs must be on heart worm preventative.
