Story
Cooper is the most incredible 3-4 year old mountain cur/lab mix weighing 50 lbs. This boy unfortunately had a rough start to life and arrived at his current foster home 5 days ago a very shy, scared and withdrawn boy. We thought it was going to be a lot of work to build a bond with him and get him to be comfortable not only with us but with the idea that not all people are scary/will hurt him.  Within only a couple of days this amazing pup has done a complete turn-around with his personality. He gives kisses, bops us on the hands when he wants pets and follows us around EVERYWHERE. He is completely housebroken, walks perfectly on the leash, not destructive at all and is fine being left out at home alone. Cooper is low energy but loves being outside and really enjoys his walks, hikes and trips to the dog park. Cooper is good with others dogs, even though he is still a little shy at first. He is good with the cat in his foster home but does like to follow/chase her around when she runs away. I would suggest a home without a cat. Cooper would be an incredible addition to a retired couple's lifestyle.  He will make you feel so loved and important in his life.   He does have a little anxiety when home alone for long hours.  He may be better in a household with older kids because he does get startled by loud noises.. Cooper has so much love and life to give and would adore having a family to call his own.    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

Story
Sheba, as in queen of, is a very sweet, happy girl. She does think she is the only one though. She plays well with others but does not care for cats, maybe chickens too, we don't know. She was born approximately 2015 and is spayed and current on her shots. She is a beautiful light brindle color and loves to give kisses. She is also house trained. Please send your phone number to find out more about this wonderful girl.
