Story
Sam is a sweet, loving young dog with lots of energy. He enjoys running in the yard, playing with his human and other dogs. He shows potential for treeing squirrels, birds. He does not get along with cats and is very kid friendly. I have had him since age 8 weeks, he is now almost 2 but my declining health requires that I find him a loving home.

Zeus and his brothers, Sparky and Taz are handsome new arrivals to SCHS!These 7 month old brothers are a mix of Plott hound and Labrador Retriever, and the results couldn't be more attractive! Zeus has a gorgeous ebony coat with white accents. He may look regal, but this boy is a goof. He is playful and rambunctious, but also cuddly! Most of all, he is ready for a home of his own!Zeus has begun his puppy vaccinations and is now receiving preventatives for fleas, ticks, intestinal parasites and heart worms. He is neutered and is available for immediate adoption. Come meet Zeus!For more information, please email Stephens County Humane Society at schs@att.net, or call us at 580-252-7387 (PETS). Our animals are spayed/neutered, UTD on shots, and treated for ticks, & fleas. Cats are tested for FeLV & FIV; and dogs are tested for heart worms.Normal adoption fee for cats is $75.00; and $100.00 for dogs, but we frequently have specials running and/or animals who have had their adoption fee sponsored, so ... call us!
