Story
Sally came to us as a "dog left behind" when her family moved. We can't understand how someone could leave this sweetheart. She has a kind and loving spirit and lives for human attention. Sal is a 1 year-old spayed female Mountain Cur Mix. She has tested well with other dogs as well as our male and female volunteers. She is a medium sized girl at about 40-45 pounds. This lady loves to play fetch and would require a family who is willing to give her the attention and exercise she will require. Please let us know if you would like more information on Sally or an adoption application. Email us at rescue@aardvarkanimalhospital.com. We require an approved application prior to any meet and greets with our animals. Characteristics loving, playful, loves attention, happy all the time

Story
For Adoption:This is Millie who is with a foster mom Paula in Tennessee- Millie is a spayed 2 year old female, crate-trained, excellent with other dogs, very loving once she trusts you. Millie spent her early time in a hoarding situation and lived in deplorable conditions. She stood in a foot of feces all day with her siblings; food was occasionally thrown over the fence. Millie has been in foster homes for a little over a year. Once Millie overcame her initial shyness, she has become a great dog; her foster mom Paula has been dangerously close to being what is known as a "failed foster," but has too many dogs to keep her. Millie is very sweet and smart as a whip; she would be a great addition to a loving family! Millie is very attached to her sister Willow. They were not fostered together for several months and when they were reunited it was an instant bond. They actually became a super duo and just thrived being back together. If an adopter wants to adopt these two together the adoption fee will be waved on one of them. Millie and Willow’s foster mom has had them together ever since and really wants to adopt them into a home together. The sisters are super attached to each other and Paula can let them out on her property and they never stray off. When they are done running around playing with other dogs on her farm they come right to the door to come in and hang out with Paula’s 86 yr. old mother. In the right situation and with the right family, these girls will be the most loyal, trustworthy, hard-working, protective and loving dogs you will ever meet. The rescue would like to place these girls in a home as opposed to an apartment/condo. They feel that the added commotion and lack of room to run would not be a good fit for them.If you are interested in adopting please submit your APPLICATION TO ADOPT Online at http://www.jotform.us/ddpets/adoptddpets   If you have questions please email store@ddpets.com or call 610-970-7500

Story
DIXIE: Hello world, please don’t be fooled by my frosted face; it’s just my adorable look I was born with. I’m Dixie, an adorable Mountain Cur mixed with sugar, spice and everything nice, that’s what’s inside my big heart. I’m a super friendly, petite little gal with a playful side too. I am social butterfly! I’m hoping my one-of-a-kind beauty has your attention, but my friends will tell you to know me is to love me, and my personality is the way I steal hearts. Basically, I leave a little sparkle wherever I go. I may be the lucky age of 7, but I have lots of spunk in my steps, with a sassy, fun personality, so don’t be fooled by my age. Ask my LaMancha friends, they’ll tell you. I just want to wiggle by little body right onto your lap. I’m happy to say I was blessed with good looks and a bubbly, positive personality . . . now all I need is you! I’ve been waiting for this day forever! To inquire about me: Please email rescue@lamanchaanimalrescue.org UTD vaccinations, chipped, spayed/neutered, wormed. ***BREED/AGE INFO: We can only go by what breed/age appears on the dog's paperwork and our "best" guess. We cannot make guarantees that the breeds/ages are correct.***
