Story
Nash was found wandering the streets of Arlington but no one came for him.  His shelter "before" pictures are included, and it's hard to believe this is the same dog!  He went from malnourished, scared and shaking to outgoing and friendly within his first week of freedom. Nash has turned out to be a very loving, affectionate boy, who is now both house trained and crate trained.  He takes treats gently.  He is doing great with basic training but is still working on manners and learning to walk on a leash.  Nash does well with dogs of all sizes although he would also be very happy as an only dog. Nash is heartworm negative, he has been neutered, fully vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and is ready for his forever home. Due to an injury on this tail that continued being re-injured due to his constant tail wagging, we did have to amputate it and now he has an adorable little nub that he is able to wag furiously! You can apply to meet with/adopt him here: https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ DOB: 6/17/18 (approx) Weight: 60 lbs We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in adopting from LHS, please complete an online application at http://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ and we will contact you asap about the status of your application.
