Please contact Lindsay Dempsey (lindsayd@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.Fun-sized Newfoundland Marley needs a forever home!MARLEY NEEDS A FOREVER HOME! Name:  Marley      Best Guess for Breed: Newfoundland Mix    Best Guess for Age:  1 year as of 2/6/20       Sex: Male Approximate Weight:  about 60 lbs as of 3/6/20 but will need to gain more! Gets Along With: other dogs - can see how Marley does with cats or kids if needed! Currently Living at:  DC area foster home. Special Adoption Considerations: Marley will need a strong, committed adopter who will continue with his training as he tends to react to other dogs on leash!  Marley is Looking For: Woof! Marley's my name and being the fluffiest fun-sized Newfoundland mix is my game! I mean come on, who doesn't want a beautiful floof like me?! I've been looking for my forever home and then these people at Lucky Dog stepped in to help! So here's what I'm looking for, a family to take me on lots of walks, plenty of trips to the dog park, and a chance to show off at obedience school! I'd also really love for my forever home to have a lifetime supply of treats and lots of brushes (maybe lint rollers for the humans) to try and contain this mane! So, what do you say - are you the perfect family for me?! What My Foster Says About Me: Marley's foster here! 'Marley does wonderful with our young toddler - he's truly a giant teddy bear! He's been doing great with crate training as he sleeps through the night and has been improving with potty training. Marley still tends to have puppy moments and forgets his size sometimes so will need an adopter who can help him learn! Marley's still getting use to the whole leash concept and definitely needs training with leash manners as he pulls and barks at other dogs. However, Marley and my current dog are best buds and entertain each other all day long! For a big guy, he can totally keep up! He would make a wonderful addition to any home!'   Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $350, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
