Story
Newton is a 1.5 year old male golden retriever mix who has had a rough start. He has some scars on his face, but they do not diminish how handsome he is. He is as sweet and docile as they come. He rides well in a car, does well on a leash and definitely takes the 'submissive' role when meeting other dogs. He drops down and acts like he expects them to beat him up. He has no idea that he is a bigger dog. Newton loves getting affection and loves getting treats. He has bonded with a silver pit mix named Nora and looks after her daily - Nora is also listed on Adopt a Pet and they are a bonded pair, looking for a home together! Adoption fee is $125.00 for this bonded pair. To meet Nora and Newton, please contact their foster mom Shirlene at (706) 664-8305.

Story
Annie is an adorable Golden Retriever/Corgi mix , friendly, sweet, smart, crate trained, comes when she’s called, and walks nicely on a leash. Annie is good with kids aged ten and older and can be dog selective. She has a tendency to be bossy with other dogs and wants to be an alpha. It just depends on the dog. Very interested in cats and barks at new people. She just needs a structure, set boundaries and a lot of love. Annie is currently being boarded at a kennel in Augusta, Georgia and getting great care there, but it would be great for her to find a loving foster home or forever home! Fostering costs nothing and is a great way to give this special girl a chance to be in a home environment and thrive, and to find out if she would be a good fit for your family and life style. So either a foster or permanent home is what this cutie needs – just look at that face! She’s looking for her special someone – could it be you?
