Matilda Provac is currently in RI and looking for a 'furever' home! Matilda is a sweet senior girl who was surrendered to a local shelter with a mammary tumor. We will be getting this removed and biopsy done. Due to COVID-19 regulations, we will be offering meet & greets for pre-approved applicants only. If you are interested in adopting this dog please complete the adoption application at www.rhodehomerescue.org/adoption-form to become a pre-approved adopter. This little cutie is Penny. Penny is a petite, young lady in need of a home. Penny may be little, but don't let her size fool you. She is sassy and knows what she wants. She loves to snuggle and be petted by the people she loves most. It takes time to earn Penny's love. Penny has complex medical needs that will require ongoing veterinary care, and is looking for a home who could provide that for her. Penny has been able to make friends with other small dogs and gentle cats at the shelter who do not jump on her. Once Penny is comfortable, she is a great, tuned in buddy who will cuddle in your lap, play gentle tug with her favorite duck toys and enjoys going on walks. She is looking for a home with out children, and patient enough to give this great girl some time to trust.
