Taco's story is a long one. Taco was hit by a car before coming to our rescue. The little girl who found him named him taco while they cared for him until transportation could be arranged. Taco had multiple fractures on his pelvis as well as it had come detached from his spinal column, but not his spinal cord. With his age, he was able to heal with months of crate rest. Taco is missing some of his hair on his back end, we had to shave him to fully check for other damaged caused by the car. Taco can walk relatively well considering and climb his specially made cat tower. Taco LOVES people and food. He needs a quiet home preferably with no stairs, other pets, or small children. If taco were to sustain another injury to his pelvis/ spinal column his chances of recovery would be slim. Taco is neutered, UTD on vaccines and has had a dental, been dewormed and a list of other medical procedures done. He is now healthy and ready to find an understanding forever home who can accommodate his needs with walking and jumping. With his adoption fee also includes a vet visit with the vet who has seen him through all of the procedures and recovery to help you understand and transition smoothly. Josh-Drakes brother. The boys have been together since birth, born May 2018. Josh is the talker! He will tell you when food or water dish is low, and will hold a conversation with you back, always having the last word. He is long haired and does require a good brushing regularly.
