We saved him from being put down from ungrateful owners he’s a very sweet cat he just doesn’t like other animals but he will come up and let you pet him he’s skittish at first so let him roam around and get to know the area

She is not quite a year old so she was just a baby when she had her kittens (Dumplin, Chicken, Frank & Beans), but was an amazing mama cat! She took such great care of them! All but one of her kittens has found their forever home. Audrey is very smart, she was affectionate enough with me at the shelter so I thought she was scared in the unfamiliar environment with her newborn babies. Once settled into my home, she only wanted her babies and not people. I don't believe Audrey will ever be a cuddly cat towards people, which makes her chance of adoption rather non-existent. She lives happily in my home, sleeps at the foot of my bed, and adores the other cats in my home. I have the option to send her to be a barn cat; however, I'd like to give her the opportunity for an indoor home. She's very happy being inside only and has great litter box and scratching post manners, so I know she will do well in a forever home. She would make an excellent companion for a playful and/or cuddly cat. Unfortunately, a decision will have to be made on her forever home soon. I would prefer that it's in a safe forever home versus a barn so if you're interested in adopting her, please fill out an application on NTCR's website soon. If you would like to donate to his care, you can do so via NTCR’s PayPal at ntcr@northtexascatrescue.com. Figaro is in hospice foster care as he is in renal failure, but still has a good quality of life. Figaro and his sister, Zsa Zsa, came to NTCR’s attention when their human was placed into a long-term care facility and a plea for help in rehoming them was issued. We were told they went to a new home. As it turns out, the pair were shuffled to two different homes where neither received adequate food, water, attention, or veterinary care. NTCR was alerted to their plight once again. We rescued both kitties; however, it was too late for Zsa Zsa. By the time we rescued her, Zsa Zsa was in complete renal failure and her organs began shutting down. We had to let her go. Sister Kitty is a very very sweet, curious girl who loves to snuggle, hang out with you while you are working/studying, and is friendly with all people! She gets along great with dogs, and gets along well with her related sibling (who will be staying with us). However, we have learned recently after getting married and adding my husband's cat to our household, that she is very dominant. This behavior goes back a long time, but her sibling is used to it and doesn't mind. We hate to part with her, she is SUCH a wonderful, beautiful, sweet, loving cat, but we think she will do great in a single cat home with all of the attention! She would probably also do well in a home with a dog, but no other cats. WE ARE OPEN TO A TRIAL. We are still figuring things out ourselves, and trying to get our household back in equilibrium. Cats are a hard "tell" and will take her back if it isn't working or if she isn't the issue here. We love her.
