Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Posey is a must meet kinda gal. She's a beautiful, friendly pup. She and her litter mates came to the rescue when they were around 4-6 weeks old, after their mother was killed on the road by a vehicle. Sadly, Posey was born with some developmental delays and a sight issue. She can see things but we're not sure how much. And at around 6 months a few seizures. She was hospitalized, evaluated and started on medication. Since being on the medication she has had no other seizures. These are small challenges but they do not stop her. Once Posey learns she can trust you and gets unaccustomed to her environment she adapts fairly quickly. While in her foster home she has come a long way and is continuing to learn. She is crate trained for short periods of time, house broke to a doggie dog but she does have an occasional puppy accident. She is still working on being on a leash. She is a great pup who deserves a chance. She is looking for a family with lots of patience and no small children. A family that is not to busy, is home more to help her to continue to thrive, is committed and willing to put in extra time and effort to help her build her confidence. Consistency and routines are a must. Alot of noise or loud commotion confuses her because she relies a great deal on her hearing to get her through her daily life. She is fine with playful, NON-dominate, big or small dogs. Not sure about cats. If you have plenty of patience and are willing to commit and provide this special girl a forever home, please fill out an application.  If you think that could be you and you would like to meet her, please submit a no obligations Adoption Application that can be found on the rescue's website. www.dashanimalrescue.org Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.
