Story
Asher is a beautiful all black cat whose estimated date of birth is 5-21-15. He is very sweet and gentle. He is vocal and likes to follow you around for petting. He likes to sleep on the bed and sofa with you. Asher gets along well with other cats and dogs. He is best friends with another black cat, Ninja, and has really bonded with him. He would like to find a home where they would be adopted together! He is healthy and has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and tested negative for feline leukemia virus. Living their lives in a rescue environment is not the same as living in their own home, they need someone to spend time with them, give them one on one attention and play with them and they will blossom in their own home or homes. If given a chance he will be a great companion. Asher is looking for a quiet home with someone who understands he will need time to warm up and settle in. Adoption fee is $25, which is to help reimburse for expenses of a portion of cat rescue and rehabilitation. Local adoptions only; within a 50 mile radius because we deliver animal to its new home. (Please note: L.A. and Orange Counties are out of area.) We are looking for adopters who are willing and able to care for this pet for its lifetime (15+ years). If interested, please email us with a little info about you, your family, your lifestyle, your other pets, where you live, what kind of cat you are looking for, etc. Thank you. Adoption fee is $25, which is to help reimburse for expenses of a portion of cat rescue and rehabilitation. Local adoptions only; within a 50 mile radius.Adoption contract required. Location: Quail Valley/Menifee, Southwest Riverside County. Local adoptions only; within 50 mile radius because we deliver animal to its new home. If interested, please email us with a little info about you, your family, your other pets, where you live, etc. Thank you. Our adoption process involves meeting the animal by appointment. We have the best interest of the animal in mind and our goal is to find a good, permanent home for each of our rescued animals. We have the right to decline an application if we feel it is not a good match/fit or suitable home. If you like the animal and we both feel it is a good match, an application and adoption contract is completed. A convenient day/time is arranged for us to deliver the animal to its new home to do a home/yard check (to make sure the home and yard is safe and secure). We will collect the adoption fee (cash only) when we deliver the animal to its new home. All our adoptions are on a trial basis because our goal is to have a successful adoption where the animal has a good permanent home and never ends up in a bad situation again. We ask that you give the animal a chance to adjust and settle in his new home and environment. Going to a new home with new people and a new environment is traumatic and stressful. It will take time for the animal to become comfortable around you and his/her new home. This should be a bonding period where you get to know the animal and connect with it, spend time with it and take things slow. He/she will need to get to know and trust you and learn the rules of the house and what is expected of him/her. This takes time, sometimes 2-3 weeks. During this time we will hold the adoption fee and if the adoption is not working out, we ask that you contact us and return the animal and we will refund your adoption fee.

Story
Local adoptions only--within a 50 mile radius of Quail Valley/Menifee, southwest Riverside County. L.A. and Orange Counties are out of area due to traffic and drive time. Louie was turned in to the rescue when his owner had to move and could not take him with her. Louie is the sweetest and most beautiful black cat whose favorite place is in your lap! He would do well in a quiet home with one or two people. Louie is a great lap cat and companion. His birthdate is 7/4/09 and he weighs almost 14 pounds. He has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, tested negative for feline leukemia virus and microchipped. Most cats/kittens are scared going to a new home with new people, but they all blossom in their own home. We never know how long it will take for them to become comfortable in their new home because all cats are different, some cats walk in and make themselves right at home, sometimes 2-3 days and sometimes weeks. We are looking for loving indoor homes for all of our cats and kittens. $25 adoption fee, cash only, which is to help reimburse for a portion of expenses of cat rescue and rehabilitation. Story
Local adoptions only--within a 50 mile radius of Quail Valley/Menifee, southwest Riverside County. Please note: L.A. and Orange Counties are out of area due to traffic/drive time. According to neighbors, this sweet boy who we named Sugarplum was abandoned. His owners moved away and left him behind. Sadly, this is an all too common occurrence nowadays. Sugarplum is healthy and is neutered, vaccinated and negative for FIV/FeLV. His estimated date of birth is 12-16-15 and he weighs 13+ pounds. Sugarplum is a great cat!!! He's very social, outgoing, friendly and inquisitive. He is a lap cat and loves to sleep in your lap or on the bed with you. He has a delightful personality and will walk right in and make himself at home! Sugarplum is mellow and easygoing, as are most neutered male cats, and is a wonderful companion! He gets along well with other cats. It appears he has not been around dogs because he is afraid of them but is getting used to them. Sugarplum does not spray and is well behaved in the house. Some people won't adopt a male cat because they are worried about him spraying or marking his territory in the house. Actually, it is our experience that females spray, too! However, after being fixed, most cats do not spray, but a few still feel the need to mark their territory, which is usually when there are multiple cats in the household causing stress and, therefore, unwanted behavior. Sugarplum is looking for that person or family to give him a second chance at a loving, “furever” indoor home. He is a neat, neat cat and very deserving!!! Most cats/kittens are scared going to a new home with new people, but they all blossom in their own home. Living in a rescue environment is not the same as living in their own home where they receive the individual attention they need and deserve. They need someone to spend time with them, give them one-on-one attention and play with them every day. Therefore, we are looking for adopters who want to give a rescued animal a chance at their own home and will be patient and understanding in giving the cat time to settle in, get comfortable in their new environment and learn to trust you. We never know how long it will take for them to become comfortable in their new home because all cats are different, some cats walk in and make themselves right at home, sometimes it takes 2-3 days and sometimes weeks.
