MEET BELLA! Check out her video!Bella was not happy to lose her home and her people due to a dispute with the landlord. Change is hard, especially for a senior animal. Senior? Bella doesn`t take kindly to that word. Yes she likes to sleep (often near the feet of her former family) but Bella was also said to get the occasional zoomies and run around her home, reliving her kitten days! Bella is looking for a quiet home with someone who can respect her body language that she doesn`t always want a lot of touching and pets. Bella loves treats and being cooed too but her favorite super power by far is taking naps in the sun beams streaming through the windows. Do you have the quiet, retirement home Bella is looking for? Come meet her in Boston to find out.Bella is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed, microchipped and been seen by our vet team. For more information on BELLA or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.

Story
MEET MAE! Mae is an extremely playful and social young cat. Her favorite hobby is following her humans around the house and asking for pets. She loves chin scratches and will force you to pet her for hours at a time. She is also an olympic-level jumper when it comes to playing with the wand. Mae is looking for a quiet, low traffic home without other pets due to her history. In her previous home, she was quite stressed so we want to make sure this time around she is set up for success!Mae is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and been seen by our vet team. For more information on Mae or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. Story
MEET SYLVESTER! Check Out His Video!Sylvester`s story starts off a bit sad- his owner had to surrender him due to complications with her health so he lost everything he knew. Unfortunately Sylvester is still finding the transition to be difficult so we`re having a little trouble getting to know his true and wonderful personality! This handsome boy often graces us with some playtime and occasionally looks fond of us when we interact with him, but we think he`ll warm up much more quickly in a patient home he has all to himself with his very own people he can call his own. Because he`s quite fearful, Sylvester would do well in a quiet home without any children! He`s made some social progress in the shelter and he hopes to make even more in his forever home! He requires multiple meets before he can go home. Sylvester is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped, and seen by our vet team. For more information on Sylvester or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170.
