Patience came to BestPals Animal Rescue Center in 2013 and waited two years before one of our volunteers thought she would make a fantastic companion for the volunteers' parents! This pretty calico fit perfectly, becoming a shadow and constant comfort to the couple. There were moments that Patience would "play cards" - while Mom was playing solitaire, Patience would push the cards off the table in an attempt to play along - and she could always be found sitting beside her humans. When Mom passed away two years ago, Patience transferred her love and companionship fully to Dad, but the time has come for him to receive more care and Patience isn't able to come along. When it was found that she couldn't abide the dogs already living at the volunteer's home, Patience has come back to us at the rescue. She's now 9 years old, loves sleeping in warm laundry, and would love to be an only pet!
