Story
We agreed to foster Smokey after he was kicked & stomped by a teen.Initially he was dragging his back legs for a couple of days, We were notified of his injuries & went to pick him up. We have had him since June. He was checked out by a vet for injuries (nothing permanent), received his rabies vaccine, and was neutered. He has come a long way in his interaction with humans now that he understands not all humans are mean. He has had supervised interaction with our cats. We have a dominant male cat that does not like Smokey. He will stalk Smokey & will attack him at times. In turn, Smokey attacks our other cats who are not dominant. He seems to not know how to play with other cats. Smokey loves to play with toys & enjoys interacting with humans when not feeling threatened. He doesn't like small children as his only experience is with some who tried to pick him up or pull his fur. He is big & beautiful with the softest fur.
