Story
We adopted Providence and Boston together as a bonded pair from the Iron County Animal Shelter in August 2019. We believe they are domestic short hairs. We were told they are sisters, but we're not so sure. We are moving from Cedar City to St. George in the summer of 2020 and have found that it's very hard to find places to rent that allow cats. They have very different personalities: Providence (the mostly cream one) is very adventurous, likes going outside and is extremely headstrong. Boston (the gray/orange one) is more sedate, and is the cuddler. She loves to wake you up from a nap by sitting on your chest and licking your face. While we had originally adopted them wanting mousers, we have discovered that they are pretty much worthless at doing anything other than being adorable. They get along great with our 9 month old Border Collie mix. We hope to find a new forever home for them to light up a family's day. We do have the microchip and spay records available.

Story
Betty had been around the neighborhood a few years. I encountered her as an older kitten when she started hanging out in my driveway. She was skittish, but not completely feral. And she appreciated the food. She disappeared and I saw her later with two youngsters in tow. I tried to trap them all but without success. Eventually, I never saw the kittens again, but Betty had relocated to the apartment complex across the street. I began visiting her, but the other ferals and strays over there were pretty wild. I began by picking her up and carrying her across the street to the back of my house where she could eat, play, and sleep in peace, without competition from the ferals. She stayed. I was able to get her microchipped, spayed, and vaccinated in the spring of 2017. She is indoor/outdoor and needs to have access to indoors during winter if she ends up in a place with four seasons. She is sweet, shy, and does get along with everyone. She is not partial to dogs but is okay with them.
