Story
Rex was adopted from PetSmart as a kitten about two and a half years ago- he is now two years old. Over the past two years, he has lived with an old and young dog, as well as two children under the age of 10. He is timid with the adults in the house, and he loves his belly rubbed first thing in the morning. Unfortunately, he does not care for the kids or the dogs. We initially thought that this was a phase that he would grow out of or become accustomed to, but he has not. Rex is a brilliant young cat who would thrive in a home without other dogs and probably children a little more mature in age than ours. It is a difficult decision to find him a new home, but we truly feel he would be happier and that it is in his best interest.

Story
We adopted Rex from an event at a pet store as a kitten. He is two years old and will be 3 in March. When it comes to adults, Rex is nothing but a lover! Although we have tried mercifully over the last two years to warm him up to our children and new baby, unfortunately Rex does not prefer to be around or handled by kids. We do have two other animals, they are dogs and Rex gets along just fine with both an old gal and a young pup. Even when the pup tries to play with Rex, Rex has never once cut or been aggressive with the puppy. Our family is trying to do the right thing by finding him a loving new home where he can live out his life in peace and happiness.
