You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. wagoninn.rescuegroups.org Our girl Lisa is currently with our friends in Louisiana. This gorgeous girl’s coat is something that needs to be seen in person to fully appreciate. She seems to have had owners at some point, because she seems to be well taken care of. Lisa did very well with other dogs and was happy to meet everyone! She was scared of the cats nearby. Lisa knows at least the sit command. She is still a young pup, so she needs some work on other basic manners. She loves treats so we know that training will be a breeze! Lisa will be fixed, vaccinated and microchipped before coming to NJ. Sadly she is heartworm positive and will require treatment at Barnegat Animal Clinic. Lisa can come to NJ in May if we find a foster or adopter! Her adoption fee is $300. How to Adopt Me! Baxter was surrendered by his owner who no longer had time for him. This sweet boy gets along with other dogs and people. We do not know what he thinks of cats. This sweet, friendly boy is about 4-5 years old and 40 pounds. Please help Baxter find the loving home he deserves. Update: Baxter tested Lyme positive and is on an antibiotic for it. He can still be adopted at this time and take the medication home with him to complete with his new family. Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes. Hey there! My name is Tippy and I am a just a sweet as pecan pie 1.5 to two-year-old Plott Hound mix. I’m a proper Southern gentleman who is fairly calm and happy to be your best friend! I would love to have another dog to play with or I could be your one and only! I'm neutered, vaccinated, housetrained, and ride well in the car! I've got a SUPER mega-ultra-lovable, happy demeanor (I am a serious favorite around here!) and I have a heck of a lot more life and love in me! I came to the rescue heartworm positive, but I will finish my heartworm treatment in April. I can, will, and HAVE climbed a chain-link fence and put some miles behind me, so I really need a privacy fence or someone willing to walk me on a leash. I learned how to use a doggy door at my first foster home with one try, so I'm clearly a very smart pup! I've also lived with dogs and cats and got along with everyone! Welcome Bonnie. She is a beautiful Brindle Plott Hound/Catahoula Bulldog weighing about 65 pounds. She is about 2 years old. She is mild mannered and wonderful. She does not jump up, is good in a crate, good with other dogs and leash trained. She is bonded to a dog named Clyde. They were dumped together and Bonnie was pregnant. A good Samaratin found them and raised all the puppies till they were old enough for their own forever homes. Now it is time Bonnie and Clyde find they new home. We would love them to go together so they have reduced fees to allow adoption to be possible. She will be an easy dog to bring into a new family because she already has nice skills and manners. She is healthy, spayed, up on all her vaccines and ready for her forever home. She is in Texas and we can adopt locally. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters that deliver to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Vermont and all along the East Coast. She can be delivered to Vermont for the wonderful Canadians who could travel for pickup. The adoption fee and transport for both dogs is 550. That comes out to 225 per dog and that is transported via a ground transport to the areas we post in. What a steal for such AMAZING pups. It's Zeus here! I'm an absolute awesome dog and I love all people. My foster says I have the silliest personality and I have lots of energy! I'm a little over a year and a half old Plott Hound mix. I love water, my squeaky balls, and walks! Although I have lots of energy at night I would love curling up and sleeping next to you. I'm also crate trained, so that's pretty awesome! I absolutely love attention and am very loyal to my humans. Due to that I would rather be the only dog in the house. When it comes to cats I will have to be tested. I've lived with cats before and am very curious and playful when it comes to those furry animals. When they hiss at me I think they want to play! Overall, I'm as lovable as they come and am just waiting for my perfect family to make happy. I just need a family to keep me active and understand my working dog breed.
