Meet Christopher! He is a 3 year old mixed breed weighing approximately 40 lbs. Because of the brindle coloring, I'm thinking he may have some plott hound. Christopher is a high energy boy who needs lots of love. He loves people and would enjoy long walks/runs and would probably make a great hiking companion. He would do best with an active family and as the only dog. He gets along with some other dogs but prefers all the attention from his humans and would rather not share. He is not good with cats. Christopher is in a small shelter in Lytle, TX and can be transported to your area once adopted. His adoption fee is $185 and transport, via Rescue Road Trips, is $185. Vivian is a plot hound mix who loves to play and definitely loves attention. She is a very tall and long beautiful girl who also weighs 50 pounds. She is about 1-2 years old. She enjoys running and snuggling in bed and particularly enjoys belly rubs.  She gets along well with other dogs and very well with children. She is the first to greet someone new with an abundance of love and excitement - but not too much excitement. Bella is ready to be your new best friend. With 8 years of experience under her belt, she already knows the basics of being a companion. Bella is potty-trained, trustworthy in the house, knows a few commands and is excellent at cuddling. She likes to play with toys or chew on antlers. Bella is very athletic and will require a 6ft fence or daily walks for exercise. Because of her high prey drive, Bella thinks cats are for chasing and wouldn’t do well with one in her new home. Bella is extremely affectionate with people. She can be selective about dog friends so would need to meet any dog siblings first, though would really rather have a human family all to herself. Bella is smart and treat motivated so could likely learn new tricks easily.
