Story
*Special Needs* Our sweet Lenny will finally be cleared after his neuter. Lenny is a special boy with special legs. He was pulled from the city shelter and was diagnosed with Dropped Carpus Deformities in his front legs. He saw a specialist for a second opinion who confirmed the diagnosis and treatment with our vet. We have tried water therapy and wraps/splint type devices on his legs and haven't had any luck. So now sweet Lenny is just living life. Any discomfort is controlled with medications and he's doing wonderful and you would never know he had a disability. He runs and plays like any other dog. We say his legs give him character. He's our special boy and will require a special family and home. We know it's out there though. You can't help but to fall in love with Lenny when you meet him. He's such a loving boy. He does great with the dogs in his foster home and he absolutely adores kids. He's crate trained and house trained. We think he's possibly a pointer mix around 1 year old. He weighs around 40lbs now. He's utd and neutered. All dogs have a $150 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Wags and whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. We also have full-time jobs and Families. We will try to answer all questions and applications in a timely manner. Please be patient and bear with us . Do not contact Parkway Animal Hospital as they are a vet clinic and can not answer questions on behalf of Wags and Whiskers. All questions and comments must go directly through the rescue. Thank you for your understanding. ADOPTION APPLICATION https://form.jotform.us/70898112177159

Story
Vader was rescued about a year ago. He was abandoned and I took him in. With my busy scheduled and living in a apartment as hard as it hurts I feel it's in his best decision to find him a new home. He's very playful and had alot of energy. He will need a owner that has out door area. We love vader very much and want to find a good owner.
